Tullio was an amazing host who was very flexible with my delayed flight arrival timing and departure. Thank you for the wonderful stay! :) The apartment is just what I was looking for as a single woman traveling for work - I was able to have good meals there very easily, as a large supermarket just down the street has everything you could need for meal preparation, as well as some ready-made high-quality Italian pastas at the counter. The apartment kitchen was fully equipped with utensils and oils, and the high-quality oven produces better quality food than a microwave would have. I felt safe going to and coming from the apartment, even the one time I came back from the center via bus around midnight. Certainly before 2100 it felt very normal. The area itself was central but not overwhelming. If you're up for it, you can have a lovely historical walk to the center along the water past the Castel dell’Ovo or the other way down to Posillipo. Mergellina metro station is just barely a 5 minute walk away and it is on Line 2, which itself is very well connected to basically everything in the Naples region. The bed was comfortable, AC worked very well in both rooms, and strong blackout curtains prevented any light from bothering. When there was some noise out in the hallway at night I could just close the bedroom door and there was no issue beyond that. Of course the view is out of this world. Frankly, to be able to wake up every day and see the outline of Vesuvius against the dawn and then see it light up with the sparkle of Naples as you fall asleep - it's like a dream. It also makes washing the dishes much easier when you do it while enjoying the city skyline. The only thing to note for future visitors is that the apartment is located maybe a 5 minute walk up a pretty steep hill. Personally I liked the exercise and didn't mind a bit - it is Napoli after all, be ready for hills. And that's where the best views are anyway :)

The neighbors right next door initially seemed a bit suspicious of me, but that could also be a good thing because I am sure they would also be very suspicious of any other unknown people. So it makes the building feel safer to have such watchful neighbors :)

The apartment was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Both rooms had air conditioning. The best part of the apartment was the terrace with a view of Vesuvius. After a long and exciting day, it was the best place to relax and have dinner. Convenient transportation - next to the train and bus pick-up point. The host was helpful and kind. He recommended good and delicious places to eat.

Umgebung der Wohnung war laut und dreckig, Küchenuntensilien abgenutzt bzw. zu wenig vorhanden (z.B. Müslischalen, spitze Messer, Topfdeckel), Wasser in Dusche im Bad lief nur sehr gering, Wasserkocher sehr verkalkt, Fliesen in Bad und Fußboden abgenutzt
