Very nice reception. Lovely decor situated in a quiet part of malindi. Slept so well in my aircondiotioned room. I loved the food it tasted so homely and fresh.

I can overlook the wobbly table in the room because I loved my stay there. Very convenient to escape busy life

The staff, their Chef was kind and welcomed us well with a smile. In the morning, he made us smoothies and a fruit salad.

Siamo stati accolti come se fossimo di famiglia! Già dai primi minuti ci siamo sentiti a nostro agio. La titolare per gentilezza ci ha fatto un upgrade della stanza a sorpresa. Avendo fatto un viaggio lungo, abbiamo usufruito del servizio chef per la cena, tutto buonissimo! Inoltre, il secondo giorno dovevamo partire prestissimo per il Safari e lo staff ci ha comunque preparato una colazione da portare via, super fresca e assortita. Consigliatissimo! Inoltre, il proprietario si è offerto di accompagnarci a Malindi per un piccolo tour, raccontandoci le storie del posto e le sue bellezze. Se doveste passare anche voi da Malindi fate affidamento su di loro e chiedete di accompagnarvi nel piccolo mercato dello shopping Masai Market

The clean pool, big bed, clean rooms, the balcony bed and seats. I liked service of the young gentleman and his humble wife taking care of the hotel, the guy taking care of the pool was helpful too. We received kindness from the man running the hotel with his wife. Very kind helpful man.

The lady manager was drunk all the time, she talked too much and wouldn’t give us a break. She has a fake smile. At some point when we asked about price for preparing the food she got rude, she was drunk. She also touched my small sister and kept telling her she’s beautiful! It wasn’t comfortable for her and she then asked her if she’s okay when she got sad. The old lady seemed to control the chef in the kitchen, his hands were tied, and they were both rude (old lady I think the owner and chef), the breakfast was simple or little. It’s not a buffet, if they prepare 2 eggs for you and you happen to ask for an extra egg or sausage -not available. Their kitchen fee is too high ($15 per head) so to cook for two people is ($30) and you have to buy your own groceries for them to cook for you. It’s better to eat outside! The chef later in the evening said he could get us cheaper food outside and since his wife sells the Swahili food. He convinced us. Unfortunately he brought plain beans that were not fried and they were not coconut beans! Total waste of money! Also swimming pool there is no swim guard- swim at your own risk, no one to check or attend you in case you drown
