The property is nice, close to two ski hills. It can comfortably sleep and entertain a large group. The kitchen is one that you can actually use. With two living rooms, it makes it easy when you're bringing kids.

The name might suggest a house full of skylights (spoiler: there aren’t any), it wasn’t a dealbreaker for us.The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped—we were able to prepare and enjoy multiple sit-down dinners for 17 people using both the kitchen and the adjacent dining area. The great room is a fantastic space for adults to relax, featuring a cozy fireplace and plenty of comfortable seating. It was also helpful to have a separate living room with a TV, board games, and lots of room for the kids to play. The yard is large, with a great deck, ample space for lawn games, and a nice fire pit for evening hangouts. The Wi-Fi worked well, and expected linens and supplies were ample. One note: the bedrooms don’t have curtains or blinds, so consider bringing a sleep mask if you’re sensitive to early morning light. That said, the beds were very comfortable, and everyone slept well.

We enjoyed skylight lodge. We get together with family and friends each year to do an annual fundraising event. The house was perfect for our group. The big fireplace was a great way to relax after a day of skiing or snowshoeing.

We had a great trip even though the weather did not cooperate. The home was just right for a group our size with plenty of extra room to spread out and relax. We loved the charm and feel of an old inn and close proximity to the mountain, town and shopping. Owners were very responsive and receptive to feedback. Would love to stay again.
