We had a great experience renting this property.

The house was ok. It was dusty and smelt of old cigarette smoke. The windows were drafty(they’re old windows so keeping curtains and blinds closed at night to keep heat in was a must!) and someone (I assume “housekeeping”) had left the slider upstairs cracked. Therefore upon arrival, the house was freezing and there was snow piled inside that door. The downstairs front door was near impossible to lock and unlock the deadbolt. There was not any extra toilet paper for us to use and there were hardly any towels or extra blankets for the pullouts. Thank goodness we had our own.

When booking the property and being familiar with the area I knew it would be a quiet location - and it was! True "mountain" cabin on the hill with a beautiful overlook of the lake and surrounding area. Very comfortable and spacious, kitchen well appointed. Truly a relaxing time - except when challenging others to a round of ping pong! Perfect disconnect and just what we needed!

Home had everything needed for my family's weekend stay. Wifi was horrible, so recommend having unlimited data on your phone especially if you need to stream. Home has an amazing view to wake up to.

House was super cozy, well equipped w necessities, great views and close to everything. Games and Ping Pong table was a huge hit too and the kitchen was stocked w everything we needed to prepare Thanksgiving dinner.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our favorite thing about this home was the deck with the view, and it was a pleasant surprise you could see some of the lake. Turnkey was great in quickly responding to our request for a frying pan to replace the old scratched up Teflon pan, (why do owners put their old toxic pans in rentals?), as well as bring a couple more wine glasses because there were only 2. Master bed was very comfortable. A little bummer there is no en-suite master bath (not exactly clear in description), you have one small bath (no counter space) on same floor with kitchen, living rm and the other bedroom with queen bed. Downstairs bedroom (next to bunk beds) was extremely cold, but kids were fine in bunk beds because of wall heater next to ping pong table. Downstairs TV has no cable or internet so bring your own devices to plug in, hdmi cables were provided. This place is good, but could be better with a few things like glass drinking glasses instead of plastic, dresser or shelves in master bedroom for your things, 2 real nightstands/tables in master instead of one flimsy folding stand on one side of bed, (same for other bedrooms), couple lamps in downstairs bunk room because fluorescent lights are super bright, and so on. Torn about giving 3 or 4 stars for cleanliness because of 2 dirty pans and wine glasses, and some windows need cleaning (like most places, could use a spring cleaning). But again, appreciate Turnkey’s responsiveness to our request. 🙂

We were a family of 6 adults and 1 teenager. Pros: -Early check in and late check out! -Laundry (did 2 loads) -Very nice gas BBQ -Kitchen was well stocked -Fantastic view from deck and great patio furniture. We were able to see the fireworks from the deck on the lake since we stayed during the 4th of July weekend. -Very large downstairs game room with ping pong table -Owner Netflix account available Cons: -No broom (We cooked a lot. Would have liked to be able to sweep kitchen floor. -No iron/ironing board -No dishwasher -TV not hooked up online downstairs -Ants near upstairs couch (have some bites) -Loud, creaky upstairs floors. I could hear muffled conversation and movement from the 3rd bedroom directly under upstairs bedrooms. Note that there is no street parking and room in the driveway for only 2 vehicles. You must haul your trash out. Trash site is about 2 miles away. Check in at the office, located in the village, is required before check in at the rental property. The cons were not that big a deal to us but prevented a 5 star rating. Overall, we had a really good time and enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

The driveway of this location is curved so be careful when driving in/backing out! This home was very cozy and clean! Customer support provided great instructions on how to get in the home and offered general information (there's also a tablet inside as well). The place was sparkling clean! Heater worked quickly (thankfully) and there is a nice balcony with a grill. Downstairs was a large open space that we enjoyed. Location was about 10 min from Snow Summit and 15 from Big Bear. We had a party of 7 and everyone slept well but the downstairs bedroom was very cold I heard-- heat didn't really circulate in that room so they used extra blankets. The living spaces were relatively well sized but additional couch seating would have been great. Master bedroom and balcony had a nice view. Overall impression is wonderful! Thank you

I want to say thank you for sharing this Amazing cabin! The view was amazing you can see the Lake and the lift from our Balcony. They had a smart TV which was very easy to use, the cabin har a warm feel and we loved the ping pong table in the game room. They also had a patio sofa and chairs and a Gas grill that made it perfect to enjoy the view. It was only 6 of us but you can definitely fit alot more people they had bunk beds and sofa beds. They also gave us early and late check in which help alot. I will definitely come back back next year.

good location, close enough yet in the woods. access code worked well. sizeable property. fairly comfortable beds. nice to walk straight from parking without using stairs to get into the main floor. would be better if had patio chairs on deck that has such a nice view. also very strange to have to clean up the property, take out one's own trash, and wash towels but still pay a large cleaning fee.

Beautiful property, specious and has an amazing view overlooking the Big Bear Lake.
