Beautiful views from inside the cabin. This cabin is charming, comfortable beds and furniture. I would recommend to anyone and will book again. The interior decorations are superb and makes for a warm and comfortable place to be. Loved it!

You can’t beat the beachfront views. The decor was beautiful. Huge kitchen and dining although it was just the two of us. The floor plan to me was well thought out and unusual. Excellent for families with the bunk beds. We are at the red snapper restaurant nearby—great seafood and not just fried.

The house was perfect! Impeccably clean. Comfortable beds. Fantastic beach view. And the Christmas gift left by management was such a sweet treat!!

The house was clean and well-maintained. The bathrooms and bedrooms are both small with limited storage space for personal belongings in the bedrooms. However, those minor details wouldn't prohibit us from booking again. We are glad we chose Pirate's Paradise!!

One real con was the storage space, not much at all for clothes
Sheets too small for the bunk beds
Only had 2 towels for 5 guests, had to buy our own
Oar in bathroom fell off wall
Kitchen faucet very loose
Replace fridge filter
Fix electric fireplace so it’s useable
Replace litebulbs over bath sinks
Shower door did not close
Broken tp holder in bath
Sat in small plastic chair outside and the brittle back leg broke.
These were small annoyances but should be addressed
Living and kitchen areas are great. And loved the outside patio.
Definitely plan to come back next year!

Great location! Awesome view. Very comfortable furniture and that can be hard to find in a typical beach house. Had some great seafood at Red Snapper and went to Giovanni’s in Angleton….the pizza alone was with the quick trip! Mosquitos were crazy bad but that has nothing to do with the house….bring lots of bug spray and protect your doggos too. We had a blast and would recommend this place 100%.

Good view of the ocean. Great beds and recliners. Nice large kitchen. Wifi not fast and frequently unavailable or spotty (Most annoying feature of this home). They promised a replacement remote that was broken before we arrived but they never replaced. Water in one bathroom would pool up in bathtub so we choose not to use. Water also smelled very bad, similar to old shrimp or fish.

We had a great time! Property was great being on the beach and a very short walk to the boardwalk to access the beach! Home was beautiful and setup was great for families with kids/grandparents. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful house in a perfect location. Family trip with kids ages 2 to 16. Easy stroll to the beach and spectacular view from the deck.

We stayed for a full week in June and absolutely loved this home. The dog run and ability to bring our sweet pup was really great.
Unfortunately, the water in the house was so heavy in sulfur we could barely shower all week and had to brush our teeth and wash using the tiny filter water spout in the kitchen sink. Horrible for a $6K rental and family week. We reported it when we arrived and never got a response from anyone about it, even just a call to say they couldn't address it right away. That would have been the least they could do.
We've vacationed along the Texas coast for 12 years but Surfside was new for us. Unfortunately it was dirtiest, most littered beach we've seen and there's portable bathrooms and piles of garbage right outside the house. One night there were campers out on the beach smoking pot so heavily we couldn't sit out on the porch (let alone allow our children out there). The noise was generally so loud that the only time I could sit and listen to the waves was at 5:30am in the morning.
Sadly, we won't be back as a result of our experience. Galveston, Port A, and South Padre have all been so much better experiences for us.

Enjoyed our stay very much. We loved how close to the beach the house was. Only problem was mosquitoes. They were absolutely terrible everytime you walk outside they are all over you. Definitely want to pack plenty of bug spray!

Absolutely love this place, bathrooms are a little small but very manageable. We will definitely be staying here again. The kitchen has everything you need. Great location. The view from inside the living area and or off the deck are amazing.

The furniture was nice quality and very comfortable. The plethora of reclining options were a hit with my parents. The bedrooms are a little tight when you're sorting out your bags and where to put them. Also the water and ice features on the fridge are not functioning so bring your own water and ice because the tap water is a hard no. It being January was very quiet and private. It is a great location for a quiet relaxing trip. Overall it is a lovely little beach house and a nice place to stay. I hope to return in the warmer months and see if it's still a quiet location.

I stay almost once a year at a beach front home to enjoy with family and have been doing this for about 10 years. By far the best experience from start to finish. The process from the paperwork, payment and all the in-between was so smooth and the communication along the way was exceptional. There was not anything that I needed to know that was not communicated to me. And from the moment I opened the door to our rental home it was perfect. Since it was during the holiday season it was wonderful to see that it had a nice touch of holiday decorations in the home. It was so welcoming and homely. And kudos for the anemities and the toiletries included in the home. We never had to worry about not having enough for the bathrooms or kitchen like paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher soap, etc. Again the best experience I have had and this will be the way I do it from now on. Thank you team and all the supporting staff, maintenance and housekeeping for an awesome experience.

The home was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and clean – just as pictured. It’s right on the beach yet feels secluded and private due to excellent fencing and window treatments. In addition to the dog park area under the house, there are gates on both sides of the stairs so pets can roam around without worry of escape. The management was very professional which made everything easy and efficient. We are already looking forward to another visit to this property!

The hardest part for me were the check in and check out times. Really upset when I discovered we had to be be at out by ten. Thought I originally read it as eleven. Sofa, love seat, reclined. Plenty of big bed pillows. My bedroom was small and no place to for clothes as closets were locked. There was a dresser. There were six of r more beautiful decorator pillows but no place to put them when sleeping. There were also four king size sleeping pillows. Nice. Bedding very comfortable. Not enough room between bed and walls in my bedroom. I have sleep apnea and my machine took all room on side table. Decor was beautiful in my bedroom.
Kitchen was beautiful with nice long granite island. We found dishes and pots and pans, silverware adaquate. Dishes were beautiful. Please be sure to use the coasters for your drinks.

We loved every minute of staying. When my daughter walked in she said it “felt like home.” The house is well equipped and we cooked in the house for all our meals. We loved that it was beach front so that if someone wanted to just enjoy the patio they could still see the action. Our dog loved the dog park that was under the house and we loved that it was accessible and gated for her to roam off leash. It was the perfect place to create family memories.

This house was in a perfect location right on the beach and it was nicely decorated and kept up on the inside. We did have drawers of clothes left by previous renters and the bedspreads were covered with sand (par for the course I’m sure). I just washed everything when we arrived and cleaned a bit more. Not a huge deal but I think next time I will bring our own bedding. I appreciated having a washer and dryer. I do feel it’s a bit of a stretch to accommodate 9. We were pretty tight with 8, mostly kids. All in all, we would rent this house again. It was a wonderful time and a perfect house for our family.

For the value, we felt we got an amazing vacation. The property’s ambiance was exceptionally well done. The location and the beach patio couldn’t have been better. The owners definitely had the renters in mind because we had everything a small family could need.
