Perfect is the only way to describe our weekend! Even in the dead of winter, we were out in the backyard all day. Highly recommend this house and we will surely be back!

Stayed with 2 adults and a dog - The home was exactly as described and checked all of our boxes. Nice decor, clean rooms, thoughtful appliances and extra items. Lots of blankets and towels which is always a plus. The yard is fenced in and perfect if you’re bringing a dog. The street was quiet and safe. Hot tub was clean and worked great, quite large. There is even a patio heater included outside for cold nights! Close to the distillery and restaurants in town. We would absolutely go back and stay there again.

It was everything described and then some. We had a wonderful experience the home was clean and so comfy. Everything is labeled in different baskets so you can easily find the things you need to make your trip pleasurable. Plenty of towels for in and outside use even so thoughtful as to have a special blanket for sitting out back on the beautiful deck if there’s a chill in the air. Let’s not forget the hot tub which was so nice after a long bike ride. We are counting the days until our return. Thank you very much!!!

This is a beautiful property and it looks better than in the pictures. Every detail has been taken care of and everything was very clean. The house is in a quiet street and has a very spacious backyard. We’ll love to come back!

This was a super cute house with many thoughtful touches. Great home-base for visits to the vineyards.
Hot tub and well stocked fire pit were perfect for relaxing in the fenced backyard after a day out.

My teen/tween children and I wanted a getaway over the long weekend, and Cherry Tree Cottage was the perfect destination! This cottage is immaculate and oh so charming, set in quaint Three Oaks where everything is walkable and friendly. The proximity to Lake Michigan, New Buffalo, Warren Dunes State Park, beaches, restaurants, nature preserves/parks, wineries, antique shops, breweries and many other points of interest up and down Red Arrow Highway was excellent...so much to do within a 10-15 minute drive! And then to come back to the lovely cottage to relax in the hot tub or sit around the fire with the s'mores supplies provided by the hostess...it was all so lovely! Thank you, Carolyn, we would love to come back to your beautiful Cherry Tree Cottage property in Three Oaks some day soon! :)

This is an adorable house located with inwalking distance of the main strip in three oaks. The house was exceptionally clean and neatly decorated with any need items organized and labeled for easy access.

Enjoyed a girls weekend with friends from book club - a lovely getaway from the busyness of kids. The cottage was on a quiet street, a very short distance from the beach, shopping, and restaurants. We went to a free outdoor music concert at the park down the street. The hot tub was the perfect temperature. Cottage was clean and modern. Host was gracious and communicative. The bedding was luxurious! Affordable enough to do again soon :)

The house is exactly as described and is fully appointed with everything you would ever need! She really goes over and above to make you feel comfortable and at home. With only a short drive to new Buffalo beach it’s really convenient!

We had the best time on our getaway to southern Michigan! The cherry tree cottage was everything we were hoping for and more. The house was clean, beautifully decorated and full of thoughtful touches. We felt very welcomed. Our days were spent going for bike rides, wandering local shops & galleries, followed by campfires and - of course - an amazing, relaxing, rejuvenating soak in the hot tub under the stars at the end of the day. We are so grateful to have found this place for our much needed down time. Thank you Carolyn!!!

We had a great stay at this property. The home was very clean and cozy, with many helpful amenities for the whole family, including our dog. The smore fixings were a fun surprise! While not on the lake, the home is centrally located so that we were able to visit multiple beaches and the dunes with a short drive, and explore the lovely town of Three Oaks as well. A wonderful find!

We absolutely loved this little house. It was perfect for myself and three kids. Everything was perfect. So much love went into every detail. Normally I like to try a new place every year when we vacation but this place makes me want to come back for sure! We went to two different beaches but I feel like there was so much more still left to explore!!!

We met my daughter, her husband and our Grandaughter for the 4th in this lovely house. The backyard was spacious for us to sit out on the deck in the evening.
The house was nicely furnished and had everything available that you could want for cooking, grilling.
We enjoyed our stay very much.

This property was wonderful!! She has thought of everything to make your stay special. It’s so thoughtful for dogs too. I’ve stayed at a lot of different properties and I would say this is the best one. Don’t look past this and not book it!!

We enjoyed the town of Three Oaks. Distillery antique stores, quaint and interesting town. The house was lovely. Comfortable, charming and very thoughtfully well equipped with everything we needed and more. Quiet street close to town. The host was very helpful and responded right away the one time we had a question.

This house is a treasure in the VRBO community. The little extras provided by Carolyn did not go unnoticed and were a lovely touch. The Cottage lacked for nothing in the way of basic necessities. Our dog had a great time playing in the secure extra-large back yard. It's a very safe neighborhood with quaint little shops less than five minutes away. About the only lamentable part of the stay was the unexpected chilly weather...(we decided not to blame Carolyn). We would definitely stay again next time we visit Three Oaks.

The property was great.
Fenced yard was large with nice deck and firewood provided which is a bonus.
Town was close by, walking to everything if need be, especially to the distillery.
What small issues we did incur, Carolyn was super quick to respond and everything was resolved easily.
Would 100% book and stay here again.

We had such a lovely time staying at Carolyn’s house. Such a beautifully curated and comfortable home with everything that you could think of. The kitchen was incredibly well-equipped with cooking utensils and cookware. We absolutely loved that the backyard was fenced in, which meant we could leave the kids out there without worrying. Carolyn was the consummate host - very hospitable and responsive. We’d love to go back there again!

We loved this house and property. Carolyn has thought of everything - a well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, even blankets in case you get chilly hanging on the back deck. We liked that we could walk to Froelichs and Journeyman in town, and Three Oaks is convenient to other areas of Harbor Country. Note that the house is not in walking distance to the lake or beach,. Warren Dunes, Weko beach and Warren woods were all auick drives and great places to take our pup.

Our stay was excellent! The house is very well stocked and well kept. Very good amenity and entertainment options just within the house and was also very close to the cutest downtown area. We loved it!

We loved Carolyn’s home! We stayed here with our 6 month old baby, my parents and our pup while in town for a wedding. We had the best time hanging out in the backyard. Carolyn has done such a good job decorating and included the cutest little touches to make the house so welcoming. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything was amazing! Beautifully decorated, comfortable beddings, close to many towns, amazing fenced in yard. I didn’t have to worry about my toddler’s or dog’s safety. We will definitely be back ❤️

Perfect family vacation
We had such a lovely time staying at this home. It is in a great, quiet neighborhood- close to everything! The cottage is clean and very cozy. It provided everything we needed for a relaxing family vacation. The large fenced in yard is absolutely beautiful. It was perfect for our dog. Carolyn was an amazing host! She was so accommodating and quick to respond. She left a personal note along with everything we needed to enjoy S’mores for our family. Highly recommend!
