The rooms were comfortable and spacious, lots of room for relaxing on cool sofas etc. Breakfast was delicious and good choices. Hosts were very hospitable, friendly and available. Great base for exploring with a car.
Camaiore itself is an authentic lovely little town but we were there in October and so although we were walking distance from the town, only a small selection of restaurants open during the week.

Our room in this old monastery was extremely spacious and comfortable and we had everything we needed for a luxurious overnight stay.
The monastery is a haven of tranquility. Listening to the chimes of the church bells next door and the choir singing mass added to the sense of calm.
We enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the beautiful garden and paid extra for the “apericene” meal on our arrival in the evening, which was well presented and a perfect welcome for our stay.
Our hosts were friendly and took time to explain the food and the background to their beautiful place.
The local historic was just a few minutes walk away with a choice of restaurants.
We regretted not being able to stay longer!

The room was very spacy and the feeling was tip top. The breakfast was perfect with local products and was taken in the very nice garden.
