Sehr schönes Zimmer, sehr sauber und geräumig.
Nic war sehr freundlich und hat uns herzlich mit seinen beiden Hunden empfangen.
Die Nähe zum Eurotunnel ist super, ein kleiner Spaziergang zum Hafen und der Ortsmitte kein Problem.
Wir waren auf der Durchreise und würden es jederzeit wieder buchen.

Great location for using the eurotunnel. The room is large, spacious and clean, with it's own private entrance from the garden. I was delayed on my journey but Nic the owner was very understanding, greeted me on arrival and helped me with my luggage. My dogs had free access to the garden. Nic's house sits at the edge of a golf course and I was able to enjoy walking my dogs there early in the morning. The location is quiet and peaceful. As a solo traveller with my dogs requiring an overnight stop, staying at Allen Ridge was so much easier than staying in a hotel. I can highly recommend and will definitely return.

The room was excellent and the proximity to the Eurotunnel was perfect for us. The host was very friendly offering information about the local area.
The outside space was a little untidy (dog bedding scattered around etc) which spoiled sitting out on the terrace in the evening.

Fantastic location and ideal accommodation for a couple staying over ready for the euro tunnel in the morning. The owner Nic was super friendly, offered us a drink on arrival which was gratefully received and his two dogs are equally as welcoming.

Honestly, it's one of the best B&B stays I've had. Nic was the best host you could ask for, charming, funny, down to earth and just a generally sound guy. He made us feel so at home straight away, showed his round his absolutely stunning house (we asked to see!) and then we sat up all night drinking and chatting (not recommended when you've got a ferry to catch in the morning 😂 which we missed btw 😂). One of the main reasons we came to stay here other than the price, photos of the property and location a stones throw from the Eurotunnel and 30 mins from Dover port was of course his 2 beautiful Weimaraner's. They are adorable and if you love dogs they are worth the stay alone. Honestly can't rate this property highly enough. Don't think about booking in with Nic just do it. We will certainly be giving Nic a shout the next time we're heading into Europe.

What a fantastic place to stay. The room was perfect and state of the art. Being so close to the Channel Tunnel was the icing on a very well made cake!! Would highly recommend Allen Ridge. Nic is the perfect host.

Love the location and Nic is so hospitable and friendly. Amazing house.
Personal preference but I found the pillows too hard and uncomfortable.

Nic went totally beyond the call of duty to transport us to a family party in Hythe. A really warm welcome for us and our dog. great walks nearby.

Amazing hosts with their lovely dogs were so welcoming & great walks from the doorstep. The room & bathroom were very comfortable/spotlessly clean & would love to come back. Thank you Veronika & Nic for a great stay & lovely hospitality!

Veronika and Nik are absolutely wonderful hosts. Friendly, relaxed, accomodating and full of passion for Hythe. The accommodation is utterly tranquil, spacious and very comfortable. We were there for one night to get the Eurotunnel and it was so so convenient, we'll definitely be staying again. Comfy bed, top notch bathroom, and a great wee town to potter about in and get something to eat.

Owners belongings in wardrobe and drawers! No Windows to open for ventilation, blinds let light in very early!! No heat in bathroom.....cold towels!! Outside terrace very untidy.

Very comfortable and spacious room with excellent facilities.Very welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts.A lovely place to stay where you are really made to feel part of the household.
