The upgrades that were made were nice. The furniture is pretty outdated though. The only downside is the price. The price of the unit keeps going up year after year. It has now reached a price point to where it’s only a few hundred less than an all inclusive vacation in Aruba. They may end up pricing us out of returning if it continues to rise and surpass $4k a week.

I have been a regular renter of unit 8A, off and on for many years at the Sandpiper on W Beach Blvd. While I am extremely happy with the property, the management, the location, etc., the unit hasn't had an update...ever. It is very tired looking and has some issues that have caused me to decide to start using a different unit going forward. It has been a long run but I do not see the logic in continuing to pay for this particular unit when others are freshly updated and dont have the issues. So long, 8A...hello 16B!

Beautiful view was the best part. Furniture very dirty,Carpet was so bad, should be ripped out. Very outdated compared to all the other units we visited We Had 34 other couples at the same time. They have all been updated with Furniture and tabkes. The Table and chairs were very dirty, cushions on chairs are all stained.

We have been coming to this place for 20 plus years. It never disappoints and this year was no exception. Condo was great, close to the beach, private deck with a new swing. Bender reality is always great to work with, friendly and very helpful. Definitely coming back again.

We've stayed at the Sandpiper many times and always have a great time. The location is great and the Bender Realty staff are top notch -- however, 8A is in desperate need of updates by the owner of the condo. Other condos in the same complex have been updated over the years, but it seems like the owners of 8A just don't care. The carpet is torn in several places, there is an old door mat covering tack strips in the hallways, there is visible mold/mildew in the A/C vents and the unit itself is just dated and rundown. We had 3 other parties with us who all stayed in different units and their units were far superior. My parents stayed in a room that was priced exactly the same as ours, and there's was immaculate. I'm not sure how Bender/Sandpiper can keep charging a premium prices for 8A in the shape that it is in.

The carpet was old and dirty looking and needs to be replaced. The living room furniture was stained and worn out. Missing the recliner that was shown in the picture. Door to the porch needs to be replaced. Bathrooms need to be updated. Worst unit we have ever rented at the Sandpiper.

As a snowbird this has been a nice location. The decor is warm and inviting. Missing is having at least one recliner. The chairs are ok, but to lean back for a quick nap would be great.
Also a good review of the cupboards would be good. Over time supplies accumulated and there are about 50 plates and duplicate utensils. I didn’t count the plates but all the extras take up precious space.
These things are only suggestions because I am planning to book for next year.
Because of our lengthy stay i would be ok organizing a few of those things. I would put the extras in a box for owner review.

The picture depicts a recliner which we do not have, that addition would be wonderful. Seating space to relax would be enhanced.

The location to the beach is amazing. We love the dec, however the swing could go away. It is just in the way. A recliner was added which was wonderful. We have had the opportunity to see some of the other rentals that have been updated and the very old carpeting is gone. All in all it is a good rental that needs some updating.

Overall, this location is wonderful. However, it could use a very thorough cleaning, vents, a new toilet seat and updating. Comparing to the other units that have new flooring, updated kitchens and showers instead of tubs this is definitely in need of some TLC. The deck is wonderful, the patio furniture is very nice, but it would be beneficial to remove the swing to allow for utilizing the space. The carpet definitely needs replacing. There was the recliner that was added, very nice to kick back. All in all I would consider renting again.

As always, the Bender Realty staff was superb! The grounds and building is kept up very well. The 8A condo itself does need updated though. The Sandpiper is an annual destination for us, and will probably stay that way.

We had a wonderful time, the condo was clean upon arrival. Everything we needed was furnished. I had made reservations with Bender many months ago, and called Betty several times with questions. The porch swing was a great way to spend our mornings and evenings. The bedrooms were comfortable and provided ample space for our family. I love that this property is right on the beach but also has a large heated swimming pool. From the deck you can see your family members that are in the swimming pool or sitting on the beach. Love it. Awesome view and great condo and fellow guests. Condo was clean and well stocked. Everything worked, plenty of room, and nice furnishings. Rented for next Jan. and Feb. Only complaints....Would have loved sunning by pool and hopefully next year Mother Nature will cooperate. Benders are super and are just a phone call away for assistance. Our family has been to Sandpiper many times over the years and while its not the fanciest its clean, comfortable and a great place for families to relax and enjoy the beach and each other. We will be back and I would rent 8A again.
