Super clean, convenient, and cozy place to stay! I am the one who is always worried about the sanitation of hotels/vacations homes, but this place was one of the cleanest! Clean bed sheets, towels, bathrooms, kitchen equipments, and shining floor let me put my guard down and be happy during my stay.
Our goal for this trip was to completely relax so we didn’t do much, but for those who want to explore and have fun this place is 10-15 mins from downtown. They have trails and bath houses as well as small local shops/restaurants.
Hot tub was our favorite! It was clean and big enough for 4 of us. Surrounded by tall trees, view was good and air was fresh. We brought our own pillows(we always do) but I felt comfortable enough to come without ours next time, and beds were comfortable as well.
Laura was an amazing host to give us prompt answers to all our questions during our stay.
It was very relaxing family staycation.Thank you for sharing this place with us!

This is a beautiful, comfy, and clean home. Everything that we needed was provided by the host. The home sits peacefully in the woods…a very pretty setting. The deer enjoy this setting as well. We will be returning and staying longer!

Step inside this lovely home and you'll feel like you are stepping into a treehouse. The home is surrounded by beautiful woods. Natural flows into the windows. It was perfect for our family of four. Clean home. Cohesive decor. All appliances worked great. Couldn't have asked for more. Thank you!

The house was so clean and had everything we needed including kitchenware and toiletries. The hot tub was a nice addition for a relaxing soak at the end of the day. We loved how close we were to Lake Catherine and to downtown Hot Springs - there were so many things to do! Our host was really responsive to my messages and left some snacks and a bottle of wine for us to enjoy. Everything was perfect for our family of 5. We would definitely stay again if we are ever back in the area. Thanks for a great stay!

Clean, relaxing environment surrounded by trees with great views of the forest. Loved the snacks and wine left by the owners for the guest….nice touch! Friendly with great communication by the owners.

Our family had a wonderful time at this beautiful home in Hot Springs. It had everything we needed plus more (the property manager left us snacks and frozen treats before check-in). She was super quick in answering any questions we had before and during our stay. We all enjoyed the views, the hot tub, cooking outside, etc. Highly recommend giving this place a stay!

We very much enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, well stocked, and welcoming. We also saw around 20 deer while we were there and my kids enjoyed that. We look forward to our next trip to Hot Springs area.

This house is absolutely charming. It accommodated two adults and two teens well. Tucked away in the woods, it was such a peaceful landing pad after sightseeing. I saw another review say it feels like a treehouse and I couldn’t agree more.
The owner was incredibly responsive and went WAY above and beyond. The house is very well-appointed, far beyond what we typically experience in a VRBO rental.
We would recommend this home to anyone who is visiting Hot Springs. Close enough to easily get to all the things, and secluded enough to breathe deeply when you’re “home.
I’m already missing reading on the deck! We would definitely stay here again!

The cabin was great and very clean and well stocked. We only had a few issues but weren’t deal breakers. The neighborhood had a community pool, but unfortunately, it was under construction. We were said to see this as this was something we checked off when searching for a place to rent. We were also never notified of the pool being closed so that was disappointing to drive up and see the construction. Also, the hot tub is almost unusable due to the location. It is on the lower deck and tucked under the house so it was very creepy and not enjoyable to sit in. It was clean, but the location made it useless. Lastly, there are zero blinds or curtains along the backside of the house. While no one can see in due to the trees, it still creeped out my children who were scared at night with all of the glass open. Again, none of those were dealbreakers. The cabin was clean and was a really neat place to stay.

Loved everything about it - location, amenities, cleanliness, coziness (we love to be outside and the outdoor patio areas were great!) We had no issues at all and if the opportunity arises again, here is where we will book. The only bummer was that the pool was not in operation but we made do. I highly recommend this property.

A great trip. The property met and exceeded all expectations. Everything worked, which is odd, remotes, fans, lights, hot tub... everything. Such a surprise! Hot tub was clean, functioning and seemed to have correct chemicals. Property manager/contact was extremely helpful, prompt, responsive, etc. The 15min drive to downtown Hot Springs goes by in a flash due to beautiful country side. The front gates to the community worked perfectly once we got it down. We felt safe and private for our entire stay. We loved the property design and decor. They even had a bottle of wine waiting for us. One of our best Vrbo experiences. We were talking about booking another visit before we even left.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was almost like being in a tree house.Lots of wildlife which we loved. We were there for a sister trip and it was the perfect location to just have some great R&R together. We loved the house, everything was just right!! Beds very comfy everything we needed, just a really fun place to have a little get-a-way.

I walked in and was very shocked at how clean the property was. It is definitely the cleanest place that I have ever stayed. I also was very pleased with all the things that were included. Plenty of trash bags, towels, dishes, toilet paper, soap, tooth brushes, tooth paste, etc. All that we really needed to bring was food, clothes, and drinks. Overall very impressed and would definitely stay again! The master bed was very comfy as well.

We had such a great time staying at the Lookout! It’s such a cool property and feels secluded and close to Lake Catherine State park. The hot tub was clean as well as the rest of the place and Laura went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable and taken care of. Will book again!

My sisters and I stayed here for our annual girls trip. It was such a cute and quaint atmosphere that far exceeded the listing! Laura was so accommodating and quick to respond to anything I threw at her. There was a slight hiccup after our first night in the hotub the next morning it wasnt warming however she responded and it was fixed and taken care of within the hour! With goodies left at our door. We have stayed at many vrbos and i will say have never had a host this thoughtful to detail and quick with responses. My husband and I would definitely come stay here. Definitely a secluded romantic and charming vibe!

This property was exactly as listed. On a dead-end street nestled into the surrounding woods. It was quiet, no through traffic, very clean and up-to-date, with well-stocked kitchen and bath. The hot tub worked like a charm and was a welcome refreshment from sight-seeing. We loved it. You will, too!

Place was clean, well stocked, and very private. Only 3 houses on the street. Loved the fact it was about 15 minutes from town. Best trip we have had thus far without the kids.

The house was very pretty. Host provided nice coffee, wine, water. Very clean and hot tub was ready. It was advertised as a 2 bedroom 2 bath house with one queen and one double bed . Master bedroom was very nice. Extra room was not a double bed. Daybed with roll out mattress on the floor. It would be great for a couple with children. I slept on daybed which was very comfortable,my husband on couch, not ideal for a romantic getaway. They did try to find us something else and did compensate us for the trouble. We would stay here again if we were by ourselves and had the bedroom.

Overall it was a great stay! Very impressed with the cleanliness of the property. Only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it is a little far from downtown however the drive is beautiful!

This house was just as cute as the pictures. I love owners that care for the guest. We had everything we needed for our stay. We just needed to bring food. We really enjoyed the hot tub and scenery. There was great communication and easy check in. We would definitely recommend this property

We really enjoyed our stay at The Lookout. It seems like you are up in a tree house. Such a cool, cozy place. They went the extra mile to accommodate by having a bottle of wine on the table, enough trash bags, dish soap, hand soap, laundry pods, everything extra you would need. Even EVOO and salt & pepper. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a great stay.

We stayed a few nights for our anniversary and we are already planning our next stay here! The house was clean and had beautiful views of the trees. There are so many windows so you can see the view from any angle in the house. The hostess stayed in contact and even allowed us to have a late check in which was super helpful. I definitely recommend this rental!

My husband and I stayed here for a delayed anniversary trip. This is a lovely house that had everything we needed. It is a great location - close to Lake Catherine State Park, Garvan Woodland Gardens and downtown Hot Springs. Plus the home offers simple relaxation surrounded by trees. My sister and I loved this getaway! Beautiful, secluded location, surrounded by trees and not far from anything we wanted to see or do! We saw deer from the back deck every day - it was a great fit for these city girls who wanted a retreat without “roughing it.” The space was very clean, well designed and arranged to allow for comfort and lots of natural light. While you could sleep 6, if you were planning to spend lots of time here, we think 3 adults would be very comfortable due to the cozy space. I had been concerned we would regret not staying in Hot Springs on Bathhouse Row, but after visiting, knew this was the perfect location! Very close to Garvan Gardens, hiking trails, and the lake, and just a short drive to Bathhouse Row. We will recommend this for anyone looking for a beautiful getaway in Hot Springs!

We stayed here for a week for our honeymoon and it was perfect in every way! So many extra touches that were so thoughtful. The view from the deck and hottub are incredible and the location in general is great! We will 100% be coming back! Laura was quick to communicate and so helpful. Highly recommend staying here!

This is a great location for a quiet, relaxing getaway. The road in front is a dead end, so there’s no thru traffic except a neighbor or two. Behind the house, there’s just trees and a few friendly birds. Laura was super helpful with our late arrival, and everything was organized and clean when we arrived. Definitely a solid choice if you’re looking for a place to stay around Hot Springs.
