Everything was great. Location was wonderful, Staff were exceptional, Sarlat is just a lot of fun to visit. Sarlat was also a great location to see other things like local villages, the prehistoric caves.
You need to be aware that there is no elevator. It was a 55-step circular staircase to get to our room.

We loved the historic building that has been tastefully restored into a luxury hotel in the center of this beautiful village. It was nice to have private, off street parking just a few blocks away at a nominal cost. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Everything was good apart from the car parking, which was badly organised. We were misinformed, then accused of parking in a space we shouldn’t have parked in and then asked to move our car to fix their mistake. Overall this was badly handled by the staff on duty at the time.
