This unit is very nice and well kept. The beds and bedding are very comfortable, kitchen and bathrooms are nice and clean, and well stocked with all necessities. This is one of few vacation rentals that actually has all the extras listed, and in good shape-beach chairs, paddle board etc, all kept in a nice shed on the ground floor so everything is in good condition. The golf cart rental was a great addition to our stay. Diane is very thorough with all her instructions and prompt with communication. The island is private, secluded, and quiet and that’s one of the reasons we love it, and the view from the porch and balcony are just stunning. It is also so great to have the pool right there and it is also well kept and clean. We definitely plan to return and appreciate Diane’s well hosted property!

Being steps away from both the ocean and the pool is the best way to vacation. The beach is pristine and the water is like crystal. We can't wait to come back.

Everything was perfect. Beach was amazing. No one was around. Very quiet and private. Dianne was very attentive. The property was clean and well appointed. All the extra stuff was so nice to have on hand. Pool was so nice. No one was there either. Hands down best vacation ever. The island is amazing. We never unpacked our clothes, we stayed in bathing suits 95% of the time!

This was our first trip to Palm Island and the beach and accommodations at Dolphin Beach exceeded our expectations. The close proximity to the pool was also a hit with our grandkids. The beach was quiet, the Gulf was crystal clear and calm -- just perfect. We also loved using the kayak that was provided. Thank you, Diane, for a wonderful vacation!

We love Palm Island. For those who prefer to go on vacation to enjoy the beach, pool, and no-agenda time away, this place is perfect! We have rented from Diane in the past and she's always so easy to work with and her properties are always clean, fully furnished, and very comfortable. Anyone interested in staying here should understand that you can only get to the island by ferry and the cost of a ferry ride is $55. Inspect the property carefully and take plenty of pictures because the owner will nitpick and try to blame you for things for which you did not notice. Be careful on the second floor balcony. The floor feels like it is about to collapse.

We loved the location and the privacy. We had the beach pretty much to ourselves. The views from the condo can’t be beat! The host was so communicative, everything was answered before we could even ask! We planned accordingly and packed everything in as there’s no restaurants or takeout readily available, so that’s a watch out. We’ll be back!

This place was amazing! Cute beach cottage feel with the sandy beach and crystal clear ocean at your doorstep. Diane the owner has thought of everything. From the coffee makers for a nice cup of Joe during your morning beach walks, to kayaks/paddle boards/bicycles for exploring the island. Even an assortment of games for family game nights at the dinner table. There wasn’t anything that had been overlooked. Highly recommended renting the golf cart (we did) as it’s a great way to explore the island and other access points to the beach. We will be back!

I have been coming to Don Pedro and Palm Island since I was 4 years old. I am currently 35. It is a truly magical place. Miles of nearly vacant beaches with excellent shells and shark teeth, great fun for the kids. Great weather and abundant beauty. It keeps us coming back. I must say, this property and its adjoining units are some of our favorites. Directly on the beach, the waves lull you to sleep every night. The units are always immaculately kept. Everything worked great, including the golf cart with the unit. The pool next to the rental was heated perfectly, enough that my kids could enjoy it on cooler days without issue. We will be coming back. 10/10

This beach rental was directly after the hurricane, and Diane worked so very hard to get it perfect with so much devastation on the island, this one was a shining star! We will go back if she will have us! It is pet friendly, which is what we always choose!

We absolutely fell in love with this place! Unfortunately, hurricane Ian cut our stay short. Property owner was amazing and kept us up to date on everything we needed to do and know about. We will be returning as soon as we can! View was amazing and we loved the kayaking and golf cart!

License to Chill is, hands down, the best vaca spot if you’re looking for a relaxing beach vacation. It was beautifully appointed, comfy furniture, firm, supportive mattresses, and lots of extras you don’t normally find with a beach rental, such as kayaks, bikes, a blender, even a croc pot. We spent the week with another couple, and our days consisted of morning coffee on the beach, long walks, beach time until late afternoon, followed by drinks and games at the pool, dinner, then rinse and repeat every day. If you are looking for a relaxing beach vacation - look no further. The owner, Diane, is attentive and friendly. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

This is our 2nd time staying at Dolphin Beach. We love the amenities that the property offers - beach chairs, kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, toys - just everything you need! Condo is well stocked and maintained. The beach is perfection. Diane was great to work with! We look forward to returning in 2023!

Right on the beach!
Second time we've stayed in the same place. Everything was great, being right on the beach is awesome. Having morning coffee in the screened in porch with the sound of the waves crashing can't be beat. We prefer the laid back vacation and this was it. Place had everything we needed for a week stay. Loaded up on groceries at the Publix and we were all set. Looking forward to our next visit....

The view was amazing and every morning we saw dolphins swim by. The house was perfect. More than enough room for 4 people. It was fully stocked and very clean. There were also beach chairs, huge towels and sand toys. My daughter loved the hammock and relaxed in it every evening. We took advantage of the pool next door when the ocean was too chilly. The pool was very warm and relaxing. We didn't rent a golf cart but the ferry was easy coming over and there was 1 spot for the car. I'm in love with this island now and can't wait to come back. We loved this island and this condo so much. Everything in the listing is accurate, the host was very responsive, and we couldn't have asked for a better stay. The island was very quiet, many times we could walk for a mile on the beach and only see one or two other people. The car ferry was expensive, but it was easy to use and we never had to wait longer than
a few minutes. We got a lot of use out of the bikes riding down to the other side of the island to explore. We will absolutely be coming back to this listing, it is a gem!

Only cons is climbing steps with heavy luggage and cost of the ferry ride to get to property.
