Zoo Misic Prenoćište

Location and the dimensions of the room were excellent. Restaurant and food was good. Nice to have the zoo, if you travel with kids.

Some of the rooms were not clean. The shower was dripping - when taking the shower, the bathroom became a swimming pool. Suggestion for the restaurant - to have draft beer. At breakfast - a coffee machine would be appreciated much more than the instant coffee.

We were staying at the bungalows with a great view. It's a great place to come with small kids like 3 and up, but I saw people with babies as well. They have a zoo, playground, spa, swimming pool, restaurant. It's great for a weekend getaway. The employee from the Zoo was also great showing us the animals. He was friends with Dragan the tiger :)

The hotel is quite decent - the rooms are comfortable and clean. The zoo is impressive and the animals look well cared for.

The restaurant was disappointment for us. Some things were great like Moravska salad or the breakfast (excellent prosciutto sandwich and omelettes), others were disappointing like tasteless chevapi or chicken soup with flavour of artificial packaged seasoning. Then, there is no smoke-free area. I understand that’s the culture in Serbia, but this should be explicitly stated in the hotel description, as not all foreigners are aware of that. We were lucky to be there at low period of the week, with not many people/smokers in the restaurant, which helped us survive. Second of all - dear waiters, we were not born yesterday. No need to charge for double portions of salad if the salad is not “double” and if we asked for one salad, not for two; And not giving change back is not a great deal, I’m sure all customers leave tip, you will not earn more by playing possum. The spa - we paid extra fee to use the spa, the pool water was ice cold and they didn’t bother to switch on all the spa facilities, as we seemed to be the only customers at this point. Again, I understand the reasons, but it doesn’t mean I liked it. The spa centre was very clean, though. The spa and the zoo open after 12 h, so make some other plans for the mornings. And once again, smoking everywhere in the hotel, even in the corridors is, to say the least, not pleasant. In general - a place with great value and potential, but many things need extra attention.

The accommodation was decent, although the cleanliness was average, and the food was nothing special. The zoo was excellent — very clean, well-maintained, and beautifully organised. It was definitely one of the highlights of our stay.

Unfortunately, the attitude of the staff was extremely disappointing and overshadowed all the positive aspects of the property. The organisation was chaotic, and it was difficult to know whom to approach for information or assistance. Even when asking for help, you felt as though you might be shouted at rather than treated with basic courtesy. What was particularly disappointing was the arrogant attitude of some employees and the apparent unequal treatment of guests, both in terms of their behaviour and the level of service provided. Not everyone behaved this way, and there were a few exceptions who were polite and professional, but sadly, they were exceptions rather than the rule. It is a real shame that a place with such great potential, excellent zoo facilities, and so many positive features is let down by the attitude of its staff. Better organisation, professionalism, courtesy, and equal treatment of all guests would make a huge difference to the overall experience.
