We had the cabin for a week and it was great. The area is quiet, nice and a great place to start exploring, e.g. Algonquin park, Ottawa …The rooms are nice and comfy. The lake view is a blast.Communication was quick an easy through the app.One of the toilets quit its job and the host sent a plumber and the cleaning lady right away.The kitchen cutlery needs an upgrade and due to the fact that this cottage uses a well, there might be limited water and also water pressure is low.We had a great stay and enjoyed the porch, Terrasse and the Great Lake view. Went fishing and used the canoe. Close to Bancroft for getting every day stuff and to start a trip

THE HOST WAS EXCEPTIONAL AS USUAL. OUR SECOND TIME STAYING. FELT LIKE HOME. IT HAS EVERYTHING A FAMILY NEEDS AND THEN SOME!!

We made it work so it wasn't a major issue but were not warned of fridge and freezer not being cold so lost some ice cream bars in the freezer. There was a small freezer there so if host had warned to put frozen products there in first place we wouldn't have had to lose ice cream to learn. The hot tub never shut off nor could we open it entirely because cover too heavy but again made it work as were grateful it worked at all. Some extra communication beforehand would have been nice because if not for my partner knowing to turn off breaker the hot tub would have run the whole time. Although property was as clean as possible there were ants and 2" worm like critters that almost crawled into my stuff (again not the fault of the host but told me maybe cottage life not conducive to me). The washroom that best suited my needs was on the lowest level from where I slept so that was inconvenient and the stairs seemed a little treacherous as I was afraid I might fall if not careful but again made it work. I did like the pool table and the Netflix included to compensate for no cable TV. Also, the kitchen had some extra items not expected like wine vinegar which was a nice surprise.
