First time in this unit but not at Kiahuna. This resort is the best in terms of access to a great beach, expansive open green lawns, quiet and mellow, and access to the athletic club. This unit was similar to our previous 1bd unit, we knew the bedroom is not very private with the shutters and pocket doors, and the door to the bathroom is simliar shutter style.The AC is nice, it was hard to get the air into the bedroom with out a box fan so the kids were cold in the living room while were hot in the bedroom, we made it work it is such a nice place to be anyway. Place was clean and communication with host was good. There were nto checkout instructions so hopefully we did OK! Coud use more ice cube trays and mixing bowls, but otherwise we had what we needed. We'd stay here again, it's one of the more economical units here and we love the location at the back away from the busy beach area and close to the athletic club. Some street noise but nbd.

Great place and clean. Short walk to the beach. We’ve been staying at the Kiahuna since the early 90’s and have always enjoyed our stay. The grounds are always immaculate. This place has always felt like Kauai to us.

We loved our stay! Amazing location with easy access to the beach and pool, plus we loved hanging out on the lanai. The condo was great and we will stay here again!

I was very disappointed in the condition of the kitchen. The stove broiler pan face was very dirty and unappealing. I only used the tea kettle......the toaster had one side that did not work, so only usable for 2 slices of bread at one time. There were no instruction books/pamphlets for any kitchen appliances (microwave). No clear instructions for the television - I watched no TV when I was there. But the patio was in GREAT disrepair. There were approximately 20 tiles missing from the floor of the patio. A lounge chair was pulled on top of the missing tiles. I never sat on the lounge chairs as the covers were very dirty. Was 1 cleaning included in my stay? - if so, didn't get it. My family has stayed many times at Kiahuna over the past 35 years, most times renting directly from owner and I have never been dissatisfied until now. This stay was a family group - we rented one 2 bedroom and four1 bedrooms. Mine was the worse by far.....On the positive ??? side, a chair leg come off of the arm chair when I leaned on the side of the chair when I first arrived, I called Robert and he had it fixed the next day. And the location of the condo was perfect for me.
