Lovely home, perfect for what we needed.

6 / 10Nella media·nov 2025

The host was incredibly kind and responsive. They checked in on us throughout our stay and always replied right away, which we really appreciated. The house itself is very spacious, and the house was clean. The beds were a bit uncomfortable, but fine for a short stay. The neighborhood is quiet, and the immediate neighbors were friendly. Parking can get tight if you have more than two vehicles since it’s a small cul-de-sac.The biggest downside for us was the surrounding area outside the neighborhood. It felt very sketchy, with bars on the windows of nearby businesses, and multiple Uber drivers warning us not to walk around or go to the gas station on the corner. There was even a police standoff a few blocks away during our stay. None of this is the host’s fault — it’s just the location. We also experienced an ant issue. We woke up to all of our food on the counter being infested (about 80 worth) and had to throw it away. I let the host know, and they were receptive, but it was definitely an inconvenience. There also weren’t any trash bags provided and only two rolls of toilet paper, so we had to buy our own supplies.Overall, the host was great and the home itself had plenty of space, but due to the surrounding area and the issues we encountered, I personally wouldn’t stay again. If the location were different, it would’ve been a much better fit for us and would probably stay again.
