The rooftop area was great. There was a church next door that rang their bells on the hour so we didn't need to set any alarms. The location was great, we didn't have to drag our luggage very far from where we were dropped off.

We were not told that we have to go around the corner to check in to the hotel who owns the house. That would have been very helpful.

The location is perfect! Just a few steps from the San Samuele and Sant'Angelo vaporetto stops. The property is managed by the 4-star Hotel Palazzina Grassi next door, which is fantastic - you can dine there and have 24/7 concierge support. The linen , towels etc are hotel supplies so good quality . The staff are super friendly! Check-in is at the hotel, which also has its own private pier if you arrive by private water taxi. The charming three-floor property is typical of a Venetian house and located on a quiet street with elegant boutiques and restaurants. Very, very quiet, spotlessly clean and safe. Highly recommended!

Too many things in the flat ! Loads of artefacts , some precious so need to be careful that your luggage doesn’t break anything while moving around the three floors of bedrooms .very quirky collection of photos , stuffed leather animals , etc . Adds to the character of the place but can be quite cluttered! Needs convenient socket locations for charging etc . WiFi is a mobile device provided by the hotel which works intermittently and requires charging . The kitchen requires a few more additions like a cutting knife , scissors , larger serving spoons etc in case of wanting to cook or make a salad ! Also the main door does not have a lock on the inside . It’s locks automatically from the outside but it would feel safer if the latch inside works !

Küchenausstattung hätte besser sein können ( Brot- & Fleischmesser fehlten, zu wenig Toilettenpapier)
