The Quirky Barn lived up to its name and the description given of the facilities available. This a a beautiful area to visit. My wife and I were visiting her family in nearby Wrexham and this gave us a perfect base to visit them and surrounding areas. We would definetly book these facilities again when coming to revisit family. The bed was particulalry comfortable. Not always our experience when visiting other places.
The cooker is showing its age, but this didn't really affect us as we ate out both nights. As described in the welcome book, there are a number of good local eating places. If we had been visiting for a week or more in the summer a larger fridge / freezer would be useful. But again this was not an issue during the weekend we stayed.

The location was beautiful and the pool was clean but shared with 4 other units which wasn’t clear from the advert.
The barn needs a deep clean and lots of tlc.
Very creaky floorboards, dreadful shower ( hard to get right temp ) no safety mat to stand on and very old and rusty
