It's a gorgeous location with stunning views, the log burner is brilliant we used it a bit but as it was still quite warm we didn't really use it much but it would be fantastic when the weather's colder. We were planning to visit a couple of National trust places, Chirk Castle and Erdigg, which are both really close but in the end we just chilled out for the weekend as it was such a nice place. Its nice to be able to just relax for the weekend.

My daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights and it was absolutely perfectl. It was so nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The peace and views were amazing, and John the host was superb. We had the most gorgeous apple tree outside. The red apples were so delicious. The stable was so cozy with the log burner, and the bed was so clean and comfortable. This really was the only place that I've not felt ready to leave! We will 100% be booking to return very soon!

Beautiful setting with wonderfully creative grounds to explore - really quite magical! We loved the pool and the excellent bbq facilities and the unique and quirky cottage. John is a brilliant host.
The shower tray needs a bit of attention and some of the kitchen equipment needs replacing (eg blackened frying pan).
