Schönes Haus, mit großem Garten. Hinter dem Gartentor direkter Zugang zum Strand. Sitzmöglichkeiten auf der Terrasse oder im Garten. Sonnenschirm wurde zur Verfügung gestellt. Parken im Innenhof kein Problem. Maria war jederzeit direkt telefonisch erreichbar und ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit.

Bett im Schlafzimmer eher kurz, könnte für große Menschen ein Problem sein.

Tolle Lage direkt am Strand, schöner Garten mit genug Schatten, Aussendusche sehr praktisch. Guter und schneller Kontakt zur Vermieterin. Strand ist nicht voll und Wasser sehr klar. Beachbar vor dem Haus. Gut sortierter Supermarkt und Pizzeria fußläufig.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Assunta. Location: The location of the house is fantastic, at least if you’re planning a beach vacation, since it’s right on the beach. The sandy beach is great for kids—soft and shallow, with crystal-clear water. For people who like to be out and about a lot, it’s probably not the best choice, since the town itself doesn’t have much to offer. You even need a car to get to the nearest weekly market. There are also several hiking trails right there with breathtaking views. A real downside for us: There’s no Gelateria (just ice cream on a stick, either at the pizzeria or at the supermercado). House: The house is nice and reasonably equipped. For us—two adults and two children—it was just the right size. The air conditioning works appropriately. The beds are so-so. A few more hooks in the bathroom would be useful, as would a bowl for cereal or a good sharp knife. On the plus side, there’s a really good hair dryer. The covered porch is great—it always stays relatively cool. We always ate there. The garden is large and offers plenty of shaded seating areas. The flowers attract lots of butterflies, and there are plenty of lizards (our kids loved it). The hanging chair was all of our favorite spot. The outdoor shower is very useful (and the water is surprisingly warm). Monica is very friendly and responded immediately whenever we had questions. Tips: If you want to see the amazing sunrise on the beach, you should walk past Lithos (the beach bar) on the left. If you take the path on the right, you’ll obviously be too close and set off the alarm... You should use the electric insect repellent plugs right from the start. We didn’t do that for the first two nights and ended up completely swamped by bugs, even though we’d followed the usual rules (keep windows and doors closed as much as possible, go mosquito hunting in the evening, light smoke coils outside).
