Fabulous staff Great tatami mats instead of carpet Beautiful and quite spacious rooms 10pm free noodles and free ice cream before that. superb Onsen on top floor . Lovely staff.

Spotlessly clean. Lovely staff. Great location. Excellent onsen.

Pillows weren’t great. Wasn’t clear from literature if I could trade pillows, so I didn’t. That was the ONLY negative feedback.

A lovely, clean hotel with a great location and fantastic facilities. I loved the Onsen bath on the 14th floor, it was very beautiful and a good size during the busy times. The hotel seems very new and so it is very clean, and my room was absolutely lovely. I appreciated the snack gift to have with my afternoon cup of tea, also! Be aware, you won't be wearing shoes anywhere in the hotel, you take them off in the lobby and put them in secure lockers there, ask at reception if you would like some slippers.

The pillows are quite hard, but that is very common in Japan. It's also very expensive on a weekend night, for the standard of hotel it's more expensive than Osaka or Tokyo which was a bit disappointing. But it seems all hotels in Sendai are priced very high on Friday/Saturday nights unfortunately.
