Excellent scenic location compared to congested Anchorage. Eagle River Nature Center a must visit. Sighted a brown bear with cubs in May at the Center trail as well as a moose. A neighborhood black bear was in woods below the deck. Great location for viewing wildlife. Kitchen was very well stocked including snacks. Gas fireplace was a plus. Water was from a well and pressure drops if you flush when shower in use. WIFI sometimes drop off for short periods. Only slight inconvenience. Will definitely stay again when in area .

The house was very clean and well stocked . The views from the house were beautiful. Cynthia responded to all of our questions very quickly before and during our stay. The house was in a very quiet area but was close to shopping and major roads. We saw a moose right across the road from the house! We would definitely recommend this house to anyone visiting the Anchorage area.

This was the ABSOLUTE BEST Verbo we have stayed in! Cynthia was the BEST host with so many extra touches!!!! GORGEOUS property exactly as described! Thank you for opeing up your home to us!!!! We had a GREAT time, and was a little sad to leave!

What a beautiful property. Well appointed & thoughtfully decorated. The view is as pretty as the picture; the location great - flower garden & back porch were lovely & neighborhood was quiet. The host was responsive & gracious when we were there. Two reasons for the 3 star review: internet access - a router reset by the internet co. was needed & restart of it on our end. The TV worked & were able to get on wifi, but none of our devices connected to the internet. By mid morning is was resolved. The second issue was that of water. We are aware of the property being on a well. My parents, who traveled with us, are also on a well & we are familiar with how they work. During our Wed-Fri stay, our party of 5 had trouble having enough water getting a daily shower, filling the coffee pot & brushing our teeth. The first night we were there, we had run 3 loads of laundry is succession, and that evening we couldn't fill the coffee pot. We waited and were able to run a tub, but had to wait over an hour to fill the tub to jet level. In the morning, my parents tried to show and only a trickle came out, that evening, the same thing. The next morning only 1 of the 5 got a shower; the others just took a sponge baths. I kept thinking it would get better. There were guests staying downstairs as well as our party. Parties of 2 would be more functional. I tried 3x on VRBO to msg host about this issue after we left, and I have not heard back. That much for no showers was disappointing.
