House Sao Bento

Very friendly host welcomed us at check in, giving us a tour of the stay and came with great reccomendations! He even had a host dog that was so cute! The property had a nice large bedroom, dressing room and private bathroom. Lovely decor and great walking distance to all the main sites. Only a 15 min bolt ride from the train station which was great! The host was very helpful with ensuring we had access to the building and all the info we need to make our stay comfortable! The communal kitchen was a lovely touch as well.

The room was very bright and cozy. Nice quiet location but close to nice areas with bars and restaurants. There's shared bathrooms and kitchen but all was clean.

The room was huge and beautiful. Everything was clean and we loved it there.

The beds were quite comfortable and the temperature and noise was ok - we slept very well. The bathroom was modern, and the hotel itself was quite quiet. After our miscommunication with the staff we got an upgrade, which was nice.

Unfortunately we tried to drop off our bags early - and despite confirming time of drop off the night before and messaging in the morning to say we were on our way, when we arrived we stood at the entrance for an hour ringing the door bell, calling the listed phone number, and messaging the property to no response (we then went to a coffee shop and waited for another hour, to no avail). We eventually got a response in the afternoon, and due to this misunderstanding the hotel upgraded us, but in our new room there were several hairballs on the floor when we arrived.
