It was a classic Tower house, elegantly restored.
The upper balcony had great views of sea and mountains.
All the modern conveniences.
Bathroom was updated, but looked vintage.
One of the coolest places we’ve ever stayed.
Bathroom was 4 steps down from main bedroom, with no handrail.

Very characterful, traditional property, well refurbished but with traditional style furnishings.
Very peaceful location with fine views. The owner welcomed us on site and showed us around, and was very accessible by phone if problems arose. Kardamyli and the surrounding Mani hills and coast is a lovely holiday location, as yet very unspoilt
Good facilities for preparing and keeping food
For us, it was slightly further out from Kardamyli than we had realised … a hire car or taxi is essential. (the views and peace were some compensation though)
Being a tower house there are plenty of steps which may be inconvenient to some.
