We had a great time. My family was comfortable and the front office staff who checked us in around 11:30 was super friendly and welcoming. My only feedback would be to have an ice machine for each building. Other than that, keep it up. Thank you! - DJ

The staff was AMAZING and friendly at check in but our room was not the experience we normally have here. We did ask for another room and it was no problem they were very accommodating.

Moms need a Girl's Night Out once in a while, and a few of my friends and I decided we would make it happen at least once a month. This was our first time at this Residence Inn and we were not disappointed. We got the One Bedroom option so we could hang out in a living room / dining room, and for the ones who needed to go to bed earlier than the others, could go to the bedroom to sleep. It was perfect, clean, quiet and spacious. And with it having a full kitchen, we did potluck take-out style so we saved money on dinner. Margaritas, pizza, salad, wings and strawberries in the room in our jammies was the best Girls Night Out yet.

Room was clean, no complaints. The front desk put us in a room that was still doing construction on the roof for the 1st two hours of our stay. I’m not sure why we weren’t offered another room and had to wait out the noise

They are very friendly and that was a big plus! Our room was great but my parents got a room that Had bot been renovated and it was not great.

The front desk personnel, especially Sarah, was top notch. They were very pleasant and professional when I had an issue with the room and had to get a different room.
The hotel is generally acceptable but it is old in need of some renovations. Our first room had water damage in the past and it smelled like mold and rust. The second room was better - smelled clean and comfortable bed. The bathtub had stains and a shower curtain (not the shower with door that I believed I reserved according to the photos).

I stayed in a one bedroom suite for 1 night. The man at check-in was very friendly and asked if I wanted to be on the 2nd floor or first floor and if I wanted to be towards the back of the property or towards the front. That was very nice that he gave me the option. The room was spacious and comfortable. The WiFi worked great. Water pressure in the shower was good. The bed was comfy. The AC and heater worked well and quickly. Parking is very convenient. The only thing I didn’t like about the room was that some of the furniture had some dings here and there. Still functional, just an eye sore.

Not very close to a residential area, so does not appear to have much risk of non-guests coming into the property.
Good restaurants nearby. Rooms large and attractive. Beds comfortable. We have stayed at this property 3 or 4 times in 2023, and it is one of our favorite places to stay for the price we are willing to pay, however, it does sometimes have maintenance issues.

Family enjoyed the stay, it was super clean and the area seemed nice compared to the mixed/ negative reviews from previous reviewers. We over exceeded our expectations. It was comfortable and felt safe. The night receptionist was very nice and helpful. I enjoyed her service.
Only minor complaint I had was that the heater wasn't really heating so it was pretty chilly at night.

This was the first time I stayed in La Mirada. Needed a pet friendly hotel near Buena Park & Cerritos and this place fit the bill. Couldn't get the TV to work. Front desk sent a maintenance man (on Thanksgiving Day). He showed up right away and fixed the issue. There was plenty of parking. For a Residence Inn it was very quiet. Light over the microwave didn't work, but I brought a nightlight & flashlight with me so I wouldn't have to keep turning on the main lights which were very bright. I would definitely stay here again.

The weather strip at the bottom of the main door has a inch wide gap, letting the light, ants and bugs come in. The bathroom shower has caulk falling falling apart. The refrigerator was unclean and there were tiny houseflies and ants all around.
The property sounds like was an apartment complex which was turned into a hotel, so no elevators, each unit has its own entrance. I wish this was made obvious in the hotel description.
On the whole it doesn’t deserve to be a Marriott property.

The room was nice and clean for the most part. The only window for my room didn't have a screen and there was a splattered fly on the window too. The toilet ran all night unless you jiggled the handle. But the bed was comfy, it had a full kitchen, the couch was comfortable and there were two TV's. I would definitely come back!

We had a few issues with the room, TV didn't work, disposal broken. They were on it right away. We did end up having to change rooms. They were very good about everything. The breakfast was good. It was a convenient location for what we needed.

Run down on inside. Furniture broken, lights not working, poor AC control. Overall it was a pleasant experience since we only slept there and was gone during the days, but the facilities are obviously older and not as well maintained as they could be

Stayed for my daughter's 9th birthday. We enjoyed the pool and barbecue area the most. Breakfast was also great.

Really enjoyed our stay, great location for our family wedding activities, and quiet despite proximity to the freeway. The breakfast buffet was generous and we were happy that we could invite some friends who were in the area to join us for breakfast as guests. The only regret was that housekeeping staff was somewhat overwhelmed and was not able to clean our bathroom promptly after an incident.

The AC was broken, our room was 80 degrees for 3 days, they wouldnt relocate us to a different room and didnt compensate our discomfort. Late check out wasnt available.

The staff here is amazing. It’s the facility. The doors around the handle were grossly dirty. The doors had marks on them too. The closet mirror had a splatter going up it or a spray of something. There are some people who appear to be living here too which I find kinda odd. The person above us blasted a stereo until 10pm and then walked around hard dropping things. Considering it’s one of three hotels in La Mirada, we didn’t have much choice. I just know next time I’ll stay in Fullerton or another close by city.

hotel was clean and well maintained. staff was courteous and helpful. buffet breakfast was marginal, but included with the stay. nice pool and hot tub. close to Knotts & shopping. easy freeway access.

Overall the hotel was nice. Pool temp was great! My room was mostly updated. clean and comfortable. The bathroom could have been cleaner, (hair left in drain and old soap in shower). And the bathroom needed some updating. Sink was kind of wonky/broken. Kitchen was very nice, though I barely used it. Bed was comfortable and room was spacious. Breakfast the first day, was really bad. Watery eggs, salty sausage, no fruit, yogurt or oatmeal. The 2nd morning was a little better with a spinach omlette cup and more fruit, yogurt and oatmeal returned. I opted to sleep in on my last day and skip breakfast. There wasn't really anything to do in this area, som it would work best if you had a car.
