We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the room was extremely large, bathroom extremely small and dated. Amazing view from the bedroom we sat and enjoyed the view when the weather was rather unpredictable
Good parking
Food good standard, restaurant lacked character and atmosphere but the staff were excellent very friendly

My family stayed in 2 superior rooms for one night. There is no lift so luggage has to be carried up the stairs. Room 14 was on the first floor and huge, room 30 was on the second floor and slightly smaller. The shower was over the bathtub with a curtain. The staff in the restaurant and elsewhere were excellent and we enjoyed the food (bearing in mind this is a Greene King, not a Michelin starred restaurant :). There are lovely views from the patio where you can have a drink from the bar.
For the price, we were very happy with our stay and would certainly recommend the hotel to others.
