The stay was comfortable, i know its still under reconstruction, but the lighting in the room. Way to dim and we had no tv service. Overall it was ok

Our only complaint is room was very dark, even with all lights on. Really need an other lamp, some of us wear glasses for a reason and trying also to apply make up.

Low budget and they will nickel and dime you for everything. They find ever way to get your money. They are also not handicap accessible. Avoid at all cost pay they extra 30 and go somewhere else it’s worth it.

This is our go to hotel when we have to stay the night in Modesto. It’s clean, beds are comfy, people there are very nice and it’s very affordable.

So I stayed here for the weekend with my boyfriend. The room was very nice and comfortable. The shower door does make alot of noise so we tired to shower in the hours we thought was best so we wouldn't distrube any guests sleep. We really loved and enjoy pur stay and plan to make this our spot for next time we are in the area. The staff was amazing and was able to provide the essentials we asked for when we ran out of TP for example. Some parts of the hotel seem to be under construction and the freeway sounds are there but that didn't bother us at all. The room we got was just like in the photos. I recommend this place for sure!

We got the room with a big jacuzzi tube but there was no hot water, even taking a shower was luke warm and cold. Everything else was good.

I’m a truck driver and I have crazy days off , so that being said Modesto Hotel is the only hotel I’ll stay at , it’s got great prices and it’s clean , great water pressure ! Thank you

It was extremely dirty and it felt so u safe that I couldn’t have my family stay there in good conscience. Very disappointed and when I called immediately after arriving to cancel my stay they said they had to wait for management in order to make the call. Im looking to be completely refunded and hope that you work on your establishment. - Nicole soto

The room was really clean and spacious. We were given a room near the entrance which was a nightmare. If you're a light sleeper every time someone goes in or out of that entrance you will hear it and not be able to sleep. The door has a large gap at the bottom and covering it a towel is not enough to block the noise.

i HAD TO CHANGE HOTEL ROOMS 4 TIMES. FIRST ONE SMELLED LIKE SMOKE. SECOND FILTHY THIRD DIRTY MATRESS. i WOULD NOT STAY HERE

The hotel itself and the room were basic. They had all the amenities like towels and little shampoos and there's actually quite a lot of countertop space. There was a fridge and a microwave in the room. The bed was comfortable enough there were plenty of blankets and pillows. Some of the lights didn't work. The staff that checked me in were very kind. This is a no frills kind of place where they do offer weekly and monthly rates. This would be a good place to say if you just need something very basic.

There was no hot water no water pressure in our room stepped on a fishhook. None of the staff knew what a fishhook was.
Had to change rooms across to another building hotel was under construction, very dirty, feeling carpets were filthy did not feel safe in the locked doors at all

The staff was very helpful except the receptionist at night.
When I came to rest from work the room was not clean! So I went to the lobby to let him know about it; He replied In a rude mood that wasn’t no body to help. He didn’t check if was another clean room available.

First impression...made me a bit nervous with a sign that said weekly/monthly rates and feral cats everywhere. Nice staff, easy check-in. In the middle of a remodel so not ideal for a first look. Room was nicelt appointed but needed more attention to detail. Many lights didn't work, cabinets were broken. Bed was a bit firm. Overall, good enough for the price.

This property is currently under renovation which was fine but there were lights in our roomnthat were broken. One didnt work and the other one all of sudden wouldn't turn off. We had to stick toilet paper between the light fixture and wall to keep the button down that turned it off.

The pool was dirty and had a film on it the hot tub did not work at all, when something was said to the front desk about it they really didn't seem to care or understand what we were saying. The Wi-Fi didn't work upstairs or even in the building we were in

Worst hotel stay ever . The reserved room was given to someone else. No , the arrival was not beyond the check in time . The clerk allowed us to register , sent us to a room that was occupied. Hotel is full. Oh by the way we are keeping your prepaid fees and deposit. Wrong !! Refund is required !

Everything was comfortable and accommodating. Really caught me by surprise. Near a lot of essential establishments like, restaurants, gas stations and grocery stores. Prime location.

Checked in to a dirty room, never cleaned. No towels, owner was rude.

The store manager came knocking on my door. It was the neighbors next to me that were loud and not me. I was upset about that. Otherwise it was great and I ordered a tub spa in my room and it wasn’t what I got. Was disappointing about that otherwise, it was great.

One of the main doors we went into wasn’t securely closing, so how is that good for security? And then they put us in a room by where everybody goes out and smokes. It smelled nasty.

It was evident this hotel is under remodeling. And if so, this will again be a top stop destination. The checkin staff was excellent, very polite and very helpful. The linens, bedding, and even the mattress were of superior quality for this grade hotel. Breakfast was tasty, again superior to most hotels in this price point. I was able to overlook flaws by knowing they were being worked on, and had a good nights stay.

I enjoyed my stay here, but what i dont understand is why does it take 3 to 5 business days to return the $100 deposit? when it takes only seconds to receive my money from my account. The deposit should be returned right away, just like the payment for the room

The AC in room didn’t work. Had to go buy fan in order to make my stay tolerable. Was also charged $50 for spilling some on linens. Also found dead bugs on carpet
