The Langham Hotel Sydney was an up market hotel with friendly and attentive staff and good amenities in room. Cleanliness was amazing and overall experience was great. However found it to be a bit out of the centre of the Rocks and not many places to eat or have breakfast close by. We were not willing to pay the $50 breakfast as we just wanted a coffee or toast in the morning and to order room service was an extra charge of $10 just to deliver this. It did have a Nespresso coffee maker in room but nothing to heat up milk eg; microwave as we do not have black coffee. They were willing to send up warmed up milk but just seemed to be alot of effort for a quick coffee. Also we had the harbour view room which had the harbour view in distance but there were construction works right in front which sort of detracted from the view. it may have been helpful if this was mentioned in the descriptions and we would have chosen maybe city view. We were told that this has been going on for at least 3 years now by the man bringing our luggage to room. Anyway other than those things our stay was comfortable enough.

The hotel is very dog friendly and there was barking heard throughout my stay from nearby rooms both late in the evening and early in the morning. I would expect more from a hotel at this price point.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. however this occasion was not good. From the minute we checked in for our 8 day stay right until our checkout we were constantly disappointed in the service. Valet parking was $88 per night. Breakfat, which was the worst i hav ever had in Sydney was $100. Nothing was included. On a positive note, our room was very comfortable and clean. However, we will definately not be returning to this hotel and would not recommend it unless there is major improvement in service.

Lovely hotel. We were unable to have the room we booked as they experienced some damage to the room but were upgraded to a lovely suite and given some other benefits which were over and above what they could have done for us. Very impressed with the reception staff and the concierge desk were extremely friendly and professional. A lovely hotel throughout and located in a lovely quieter spot only a short walk from the Rocks.

The hotel was a gem in Sydney, small hotel but in a very nice part of town and walkable to most places. Service was outstanding and tentative.

Had a great stay and will return very soon!

our TV was not working which was one if the reasons i was getting away for two nights. Have a lazy day in bed watching a movie. This was reported to the front desk staff many times. No one seemed to care. Ruined my stay. Housekeeping was amazing, but i would not stay there again.

Hands down the best hotel in Sydney. The relaxation and comfort when staying there is second to none.

Everything was lovely, there was daily evening turn down service for our room. The pool and hot tub was wonderful!

I appreciated that they let me use the day spa to shower and change when I arrived early morning after a long flight before my room was ready.

Great location near the harbor with beautiful views loved the room and staff was awesome. Claudia at Concierge gave great recommendations for restaurants.

Everything was great, cannot think of one negative thing. Beautiful hotel, and absolutely lovely staff couldn’t fault any of them. Elizabeth was very kind and she was extremely helpful We very much appreciated the upgrade we were given, it was my birthday on the day of check in, what a Wonderful birthday present. Everyone one was very friendly. Very attentive to our needs and wants.

On a nice quiet street away from the crowds but within easy walking distance to Circular quay, opera house and Darling harbor. Beautiful spacious rooms, well equipped and very clean.

A beautiful hotel in a perfect location. I loved my stay!

My room was incorrectly made up with children’s clothes, tents and colouring in equipment. The room was full of dust and I had to leave in the middle of the night to get a Claratyne tablet. The staff member in the restaurant at dinner was rude when I requested to take a cake to my room ( told me they can’t be responsible if it goes off and I get sick) and made me leave it. Overall a terrible experience not withstanding the hotel is very tired in the non common areas of the hotel like my room.

The customer service skills of Marieclaire Ranasinghe, the Guest relations Manager, was absolutely amazing. A beautiful young professional lady, genuinely interested in the well being of all the guests at the hotel. A home away from home ! We will certainly stay in Sydney again even though the Langham is Melbourne has always been our favourite in the past 10 years. We are ready for a change !

Loved staying here we could easily walk into city rocks and Barangaroo Staff amazing housekeeping arrivals and checking This is our go to in Sydney Oh the bed was 10/10

We had a wonderful three night stay at the Langham. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The property was really clean, the lobby smelled amazing and the room was really quiet- despite being on a reasonably busy street. We had a great rim and would definitely return.
