Stayed for a conference. Not a bad place to stay. Clean and comfortable with friendly staff.

Air conditioning wasn’t working very good which made sleeping there miserable. Definitely outdated in the room itself. The holder on the wall for the shampoo/conditioner/body wash was broken off the wall but some of the plastic from it was still stuck to the wall. Water pressure also sucked.

We could hear everything above us . And the outside noise was a challenge . For 250 a night a was diss appointed with the bathing facilities. Elevator were so crowded because of boys with hockey equipment and so many kids playing with elevators .

Great Property for a variety of usages and Visually taking... I truly enjoyed my stay, I was just in shock upon check in to find very long hairs embedded in my sheets. I understand laundry and went thru and picked out all the long hairs that probably came from a housekeeper or previous usage. Otherwise great room, but wasn't paying an extra $6 to use wifi, when most offer it for free. I tried to use the local bar for a drink, but when there are "events" being held, was a Tiny Bar for such a demand of people also wanting drinks, Could use a Larger bar to attract more "staying" customers than those visiting from an event. Great Property overall.

Check in was prompt, room was clean. Couldn’t connect to Wi-Fi, which may have been an issue on my computer but if you are looking to do some work, that may be an issue.

Our stay started off bumpy but was quickly handles and management made it right! Was given a different room with NO issues and free breakfast for the hassle of moving rooms due to cleanliness of the room.

The only issue is when parents & coaches permit middle schooers to run through properties acting wild and rude. A policemen onsite was surprising as was a visit from private security tram at 11pm. The team reported a complaint of "noise" reported coming fronm my room. Which is surprising as I was reading at the time....

West Des Moines is the area of town to stay when visiting Des Moines.
PSA, dont click on the $5.99/day internet - I did, it didn't work, so I tried again, still didn't work, so I gave up and accessed the internet on my phone hotspot. Was still charged $5.99, twice for the same day, for internet I couldn't and didn't access.

Book room with two double beds. Was given room with one bed. Drain fully plugged. Tub filled with water. They brought in a snake and augered the drain at 9 PM. Refrigerator unplugged. Room definitely not wirth the 228.00 I paid.

We were charged for parking at the hotel, we had no hot water for a shower, and the pillows smelt like mildew. We had been driving for 11hours and spent $200 for one room for a night that was disappointing.

The property was clean and well maintained. Rooms were nice and comfortable and the bathrooms were huge. Would definitely stay here again. Signed, Very picky hotel stayer.

We received a room key and when we went to go in the room it was already occupied by someone else. We then went back to the front desk and were told that it didn’t show in their system that the room was occupied. We were then told that was the only room with a king bed so they had to give us a room with two double beds instead. We then went to the new room and one of the double beds in the room was not clean/made. Looked like someone had just rolled out of it. It was 11pm so we just slept on the other bed that looked made. Two days later I ended up with pink eye. I’m sure I got from that place. Do not recommend!

Room was terrible. Shower was dirty. Sheets were on inside out, which makes me think they didnt clean them, they just flipped them over .

Normally I don't leave reviews like this, but I'm pissed.
They said they had no record of me paying cash for my room, um look at the cameras duh. Then next day they charged my card a 155.68 dollars when I already paid and still haven't refunded me. They were hoping I'd hang up while being put on hold for 20 mins talking to the same person like are you serious? I just want my 155 back it's not that hard.

Overall it was a good hotel! The inside was absolutely beautiful. I loved the waterfall feature. I also loved the design of the hotel it was very bright and modern. You can absolutely see where the money is spent. In the lobby, and on the elevators and waterfall. One thing that could definitely use some updating was the bathroom. It did seem a bit dated. There wasn’t a bathroom vent to pull the moisture out, plus bathroom was very small. Also our tub didn’t drain very well. We didn’t have a microwave or fridge in our room either. The tv was also a bit small. We stayed 2 nights and it was $500. All things considered, I would say it was a bit overpriced for what we actually got.

Lots of construction going on at the hotel. Workers on partial roof right outside my hotel room window was awkward. If I was there for something other than a conference I would have asked to switch rooms.
Also waterfall in lobby is very loud, especially annoying at night. Glad this time I had a room on the other side of hotel but have stayed in rooms directly behind it before and it keeps you awake

Nice place, staff not overwhelmingly nice. Maybe angry they had to work on Christmas. There was no remote in our room, but we did not notice until bed time. I called the front desk and he paged maintenance, who did not answer so told him to forget it; did not want to wait up for someone to come. Had to unplug the TV to shut it off. Otherwise, everything was jus fine.

We stated her during the holidays on our way home. We have stayed her several times before. It is a nice hotel. Close to several food options. Also near the highway.

The reception Desk Staff was very friendly and responsive to requests. Housekeeping Staff along with staff that managed the breakfast buffet was also friendly and responsive to guest requests.
