Golden Grain Motor Inn

Room was clean and comfortable and handy for the pub next door. Pool was not heated on the night we were there which was a shame and the pool area was rather dated.

We booked the Delixe Family Room and was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking easy and close. Pool water heater wasn’t working when we went but spa was working and was very relaxing. Great location which was walking distance to many food and drink options as well as a nice park right across the road. Rooms comfortable and not noisy (except for when we flushed the toilet). If you are thinking of eating in your room I recommend requesting a room with the kitchen sink, plates, bowls etc. Couple minor maintenance issues and stained carpet but still very clean and nothing that affected our stay. Great value for money and would stay again.

Altjpugh dated, the Golden Grain Motel was very comfortable. Our double room was spacious, with a generously sized separate bedroom. An electric blanket was provided which was welcome, as the night was chilly. There was a living area with seating for watching the television, and a small table and chairs for dining. The kitchen had a small fridge and an inverter microwave and all the

Nice clean room, easy parking, staff good & excellent breakfast. Highly recommended.
