Very clean staff is great and extra helpful.

Room was clean and staff was very courteous. Building exterior is a little run down. Biggest complaint was that pool was closed and we had to get new keys on three occasions because they would not open the lock.

In order to get hot water you have to turn on the cold. And then it was scalding (NOT an underestimate) hot. The sink hot water was unusable because also being scalding hot right away.
We kept ironing wrinkles into our shorts be size of the condition of the table cover had no padding and a very loose cover.
The most disappointing feature were the breakfasts. The first day we had to wait 15 minutes in order to even get eggs, bacon, and potatoes. The two other days the food was cold. But the kicker was that we prepaid for breakfast at $21 per day for two and if we had purchased it at the hotel it costs $20 ($10 each)
Also the heater/air conditioner didn’t work. Maintenance was called and came up to find the problem. He went down and checked something out. Went to get new pieces and it still would not work. At this time we were all emptied out of our suitcases and we choose not to move.
It was fairly Close proximity to the funeral home though.
I would be interested in a refund for the breakfasts or partial refund to reimburse me for pain and discomfort

Hotel room was great and staff were attentive to the guests. The thing was they have a breakfast that cost $10.00 per guest. But it is the normal Continental breakfast, that you see at hotels that is usually free for the guest. And it is definitely not worth 10.00

We actually live in Racine, just booked a hotel room for the day to take the kids swimming and have a pizza party in the room. But the pool literally looks abandoned! It wasn’t even filled up all the way, filters weren’t working, the water was so cloudy you couldn’t see two feet in front of you, ceiling leaking, tables were dirty. Kind of a bummer since that was the only reason we came to the hotel. Needless to say we didn’t swim long and basically watched a movie in the room had our pizza party then went home.

Great place to stay if you are in the Racine area. Good price. Easy access to the downtown area and HWY 94.

The hotel was wonderful, but we only watched tv and slept. The room was in excellent condition. I didn’t notice anything that appeared worn or damaged. The furniture was very comfortable, anything you wanted to do, the desk was generous.
My only concern was with the parking lot. The parking lot has been a nuisance since it was built. The parking on the south side is best, and has a few disabled parking spaces, with a shortcut to the elevators.

This is an old hotel that Marriott has given a facelift. It is very pretty. The employees are wonderful - they respond immediately to any request. However, Marriott needs to invest in the HVAC of this hotel! The first night I set my thermostat at 68°. However my room stayed at 81°. (My friend's room was 40°!) When I came back at the end of the next day it was 83°. The maintenance man arrived with a fan. We could not turn off the heat completely, but blocked the vent with towels. He said there was no other way to control it. The temperature went down to 73° after a while. It is too bad that something so basic will ruin the reputation of a hotel with a great staff.

My companion couldnt get her heat to shut off

Thermostat did not work. Waited 40 minutes for repair man. He could not fix it. Was not offered another room. Spent 3 days without heat and or AC

The air conditioning did not work in our room, the sliding door handle fell off, and an electrical outlet was falling off the wall.

We had a minnor issue as they attempted to give us a room JUST with a king bed. Not what we reserved, when we finally pointed it they moved us, yet still seemed questionable. Then Monday Morrning at 8am maintenance walked in to do repairs. Which the desk stated that o that just Willy we’ll talk to him. Made us feel very strange the rest of the time. Very little communication

Staff was conceited and rude at all times. Hotek was far overprived for location and amenities. And you have to be a premier member to receive free continental breakfast. Which. From a man who spends his life in hotels every day of the week for work and has seen every kind of establishment. $10 for breakfast and not a piece of meat to be found. Customer is well below subpar. Very Uppity. Cleanliness. Comfort and appearance.........Amazing.

Beautiful hotel, very very nice just had a couple "issues" one of which no matter what we set the air on, it didn't get below 72 degrees which was way too warm for us. Also, our tv remote wasn't working and no way to turn volume down. From desk said they would sent maintenance up once he got back from shuttle run however we never saw him.

Trish at the front desk was always very helpful as were some of the other staff members. I experienced a slight difficulty understanding one of them when I checked out!

Overall a great stay. Nice room front desk was very friendly and helpful, wish the restaurant was open earlier, the only negative was the first time I used the fitness center it was dirty and some of the equipment was broken

Our room had a connecting door to the room next to us and we were able to hear the other people. They even attempted to open the door. Luckily, we had locked it on our side. Next time, we will be requesting a room without a connecting door.

The sink in the bathroom was not going down very well. It could be fixed. Otherwise, everything seem to be clean and tidy and and we appreciate the stay.

Front desk is just rude and more worried about being on their cell phone didnt give me any info on how to get to our room or what floor I was on or where we should park? , Our room only had towels for 1 person, called the front desk to ask if they had extra towels and blankets was told and we have towels don't have extra blankets. We had a bag of garbage in front of our room all night.

One bed the sheets were stained and when I called to the front desk and asked for bottle water she said she would send someone up with it and it never made it to our room staff was also rude when we checked in on the site it says breakfast but she told us we had to pay 18.99 per person which is ridiculously expensive after I already paid $190 for the stay .

The location is convenient. The hallway and our room on the 3rd floor smelled like smoke. We did not have a refrigerator in our room. I called the front desk and they said they would send one up. It never came. The next day we asked the front desk directly, but it never came. The front desk workers were totally aloof.
The rooms are a good size, but the carpet is stained and the bathroom light switch was covered with brown goo that I am hoping was chocolate.

The room was dirty and we told staff she said she would send someone to clean it but never did so we cleaned it ourselves especially since they told us the couldn’t switch our room. Then I overheard the staff talkin to each other and they were talking about people saying there room is dirty and how she didn’t care

I hate to write this review since this is my go to hotel when in Racine, but here it is. We checked in on friday and left sunday morning. since then my card has been charged over $100 more than what my original price was. I get that there is a hold put on the card for incidentals, however, this doesnt appear to be that. I have called 4 times since checking out to get resolution to only be told that I would get a call back from the manager. That has still yet to be done. When we checked in, there was converstations happening at the front desk about being overcharged, so apparently this isnt a isolated incident. The hotel overall is a great place, but this front desk team aint it.
