The bed was clean and comfortable. The rest of the room needs some serious updates. For the price and location its an ok stay.

The dirtiest hotel I've ever been in. Dust and cobwebs everywhere. Black mold in the bathroom. Random stains. Bathroom was gross. Bed was old and uncomfortable.

This hotel is apparently in an area the homeless frequently pass through. There were two cars parked at the hotel which appeared to have people living in them. One (obviously) homeless person was wandering around between the hotel and a nearby store and the next thing we noticed he was inside the hotel hallway going who-knows-where! Also, the toilet is one of the shortest (lowest to the ground) we've ever seen. We were also unable to get the heat turned on in our room even with the front desk person working at it. Aside from all that, the room and beds were quite comfortable.

Quiet evening. I was on first floor; that helped a lot.
They were next to Denny's - easy walk. They had a free breakfast.
The bed was softer than mine; I use plywood with foam pad on top - it's firm.
I recommend La Grande Inn.

First of all we came to check in at 4 PM and the room was not ready. We left and went to dinner came back at 9:30 PM. The host was very friendly and made us keys for our room # 128. I open the door to the room and saw that both beds were slept in and a key laying on the refrigerator. I quickly shut the door and went back to the front desk. The lady again made me another key to room 133. Same thing again the room was not cleaned. She then made keys for number 118. She went and checked it herself this time and told us that the room was ready we brought in our bags, and as we looked around There was a dirty sock on the floor at the end of the bed, The room was not clean. My husband took the dirty sock back to the front desk, and the gal told us that we would be discounted for our room. To our knowledge that still has not happened. I now regret not taking a photograph of someone’s dirty laundry left on the hotel floor for us to pick up. Gross!

The front desk was very helpful and pleasant to talk to. There are some updates to the rooms like new flooring and new bedspreads. There is no microwave in the room yet there's a place in the armoire for one. I recommend putting microwaves in all rooms. Also, the wall mounted hair dryer was broker, but the front desk promptly brought a replacement. The breakfast was continental - no hot food. We walked across the parking lot to Denny's and ate grand slam breakfasts for $7.99. (You have to ask for a special menu to see this pricing.)

The staff was extremely helpful and responsive. The property needs updating. Tired worn furniture in the rooms. Old--dirty looking carpet. Bathroom had mildew in the corners of the tub and on the ceiling.
Great areas to walk your dog and easy on and off access to freeway and gas stations.

Truck parking was inconvenient to entrances. Couldnt re-enter the end door even with key. Walls were paper thin and we could hear room neighbor conversations. Bed was terrible. Made so much noise just sitting on it and very uncomfortable. Toilet had slow leak and every 20 mins or so would turn on to fill by itself. Breakfast might have been ok if toaster hadnt burned the waffles. Orange juice was bitter.

Hot tub wasn't working. Breakfast wasn't a breakfast, but just a few pastries and a few other things. Supposed to be a smoke free environment but smell of cigarette smoke in the hallways. Dog barking somewhere inside. Just didn't look that clean. I don't know if I would stay there again for half the price. Just not good.

The front desk hostess was very nice but there was a sick mouse under the stairway by our room. I had to kick him out the door when we were taking our bags in. There was bleached spots on the carpet and the shower wasn’t very good. Guests were loud in the hall and gave the impression they lived there rather than guests.

Room 112 has mold growing in tub and shower, holes in the wall behind the chair. There is blood on the chair and on the carpet under the bed visible when you are sitting in the chair. The guests in room 114 had the TV on blast all night.

We were hoping this would be a good experience as we travel this road yearly. With the condition of the building and safety concerns, we will not be returning to this property. We especially concerned about the lack of lighting in the parking area. We could see light fixtures, but they were not turned on.

The room could use a proper cleaning, internet did not work (stated can't connect, weak signal) Carpets need to be vacuumed, the bedside lamp electrical cord was burned black and was brittle because it was up against the Electric baseboard heater (fire hazard) I told the Clerk when we were checking out

Older Motel! Very soft mattresses and dog rooms have still carpet! Breakfast was ok for a motel!

Older buildings damaged walls and other fixtures, electrical issues throughout the building so no microwave in the room, for a cheap room it’s a lil expensive

Staff was friendly but overall the propert is in very bad shape. Trash everywhere outside and shower was filthy. Price was fitting. Propert was in very poor condition.

Good customer service. Clean, comfortable. Base board in bathroom coming off and wall crumbling, ceiling above shower brown, cracked and looks like it is going to collapse.

The staff was very nice. The rooms were out dated, but for one night it was under $80. The tub and sinks did not drain, the bwd was semi comfortable, but the AC worked!

Booked a 2 queen room and showed up and the room was an uncleaned disaster. Front desk and manager tried to make us by 2 rooms and were extremely unprofessional and rude as well as swearing.

Upstairs movement quite loud, no toilet paper in the room, wish we’d known $20 non-refundable pet fee.

Basic cleaning was done but bathroom needs a thorough cleaning and ceiling had water damage and small tear in carpet

First, entrance light in our room was not working. I told the front desk but they said can’t help and all the room was booked.
And when we came back to the room from all day events, there were no turn down service. I have to ask for new towels ( and front had only Bath towels nothing else.
Door sticked and hard to open from outside.
Although, bed was comfortable.

For a property that makes its “no smoking” policy clear, the room sure smelled a lot like stale cigarette smoke. To the point where it gave me a slight headache. The room itself was in poor condition, the door lock was questionable at best, mold spots were visible on the ceiling, and there were lots of dents of damage to the walls. The room was dusty but not particularly unclean.
The door leading into the hotel was ajar for the duration of our stay and there was the same man sitting and chain smoking in a sedan right outside that main door, every time I used it. Every. Single. Time.
Who is this man smoking in front of the La Grande in? Is he staying there? I may never know the answer, because I will not be staying there again.

For the price it’s a great place to stay. It is just dirty like the carpets and windows. The bed was clean.

Garbage cans were dirty. There was a clean bag over it but when we went to put garbage in it the bag went inside and the whole inside of the garbage can looked like dried up vomit.
The remote didnt work, the air conditioning didnt work and the room next to us had a lady that was under the influence if some sort of substance. She kept knocking on the door and trying to open the door that connected the two rooms together off and on until almost midnight. My husband finally opened it and asked her what her problem was she said "oh i thought you were the cleaning people"
The quality seems to gave gone down since our last stay there.

plumbing clogged up , had to switch rooms. smelled terrible from smokers, cigarette butts all over on our "patio"

It was okay for the price, but not very clean in the room. Old bathtub that was very grungy looking.

Overall you get what you pay for. Old and rundown but just fine for what we were looking for.
