Cheap motel vibes with high end prices. Lots of outside noise, dark outdated room. WiFi didn’t work. Shower pressure was poor.

The hotel service was kind and helpful. The room was very clean overall. Just a couple minor things like a thermostat set for 62 degrees cold which I promptly shut off as it was 70’s for a high during my stay. The parking lot got really full and busy early Saturday as there were boats being launched directly from the hotel parking lot, so getting out can be tricky on a weekend but it’s safe and empty at night. Overall a positive experience. I would stay there again.

The pool was beautiful with the view over looking the Ocean. That was about all it had going for it. The hotel itself was farther away from everything then we had expected. The king deluxe balcony rooms were in the older part of the hotel and smelled of old smoke and mildew. They were in serious need of upgrading. The had just opened up newer or renovated rooms on the other side, but they were booked up so we could not trade rooms or see them. Staff was swamped and overwhelmed leading to less than desirable service. The only restaurant nearby was the one at the hotel. If you are looking to stay away from it all and hang at the pool, then you may like it here, just ask for the newer rooms. If you are looking to stay where there is more going on, I'd recommend somewhere in South Beach. Collins Ave is only 1 block from Ocean Ave and Miami Beach which has may shopping and dinning options.

We are very glad we only stayed one night here on our trip. There is no continental breakfast. The hotel has not been uodated at all in at least the last 20 years. The lock on the door was questionable at best. Tiny bathroom. Asked for a blanket and sheets for the pull out couch and was told they didnt know where they were so they couldnt get us one. They did finally find sheets, but never did find a blanket.

Always a pleasure staying here, John at the front desk is the best. I come to Miami 4 or 5 times per year and I always stay here, great hotel and great bar outside

You get what you pay for. It's not a luxury property but it served our needs.

The air conditioning in the room was not working properly. It was always extremely cold, at the point that it was pretty uncomfortable to work in it. Since there is not electricity in the balcony, had to find a different way to be able to work.

Great location right on the water and rooms nicely remodeled.

Entrance for the part of the hotel I was staying in was around the corner, past a dumpster, through a parking lot, through a door to a restaurant and to the left. Had no idea where I was going. The Restaurant on site had good food but was a sports bar and there was a lot of noise. The view from the room was great. Took a shower and so much filth and hair came off my feet from the carpet I was shocked. I only took my socks off when I went to bed and walked into the bathroom to take a shower. The weather was miserable so no pool fun for us, obviously no fault of the hotel. Only place to eat within walking distance was the on site restaurant and a Benihana across the street. There is a mall where my family went but the wind was almost hurricane strength I had to return. The buffet on site was very good.

Hidden fees

Despite some efforts to refresh the rooms, this property is in poor condition. Bathroom door could not be opened after closing because door latch was stuck. Beds were comfortable with decent linens and blankets. Nearby road noise was loud enough to be heard over the air conditioner.

The view was amazing. But it was not safe for me as a mom to leave my teenage daughter by herself. Not the most safest place. We checked out the next day. Still waiting for our refund. Its been 4 days and we were told 4 to 5 days for refund.
