The suite was spacious, clean, and well appointed. The area was super convenient for an evening at the Kennedy Center. The staff was very personable and helpful.

We’ve been there before to go to the Kennedy Center. Location is perfect to walk to. The
room was fine.
On the night of the Kennedy Honors…a Sunday night at 10pm….our key didn’t work to get into the front door of the Hotel!!! We were knocking on the door…the intercom didn’t work and it was cold and scary to be alone at night in DC at the Hotel we paid for and not be able to get anyone to open the door. There was no one in the lobby Or front desk. We were in shock!!!
This should NEVER EVER HAPPEN TO ANYONE!!!!!
I feel we should be compensated for the horrible inconvenience and awful experience.

We traveled to Georgetown for a concert at the JFK Center and decided to spend the night at the Residence Inn Washington DC/Foggy Bottom. This hotel is in a convenient location - a quick drive to Georgetown, the Smithsonian, Capitol, Zoo - and walkable to the JFK Center and Washington Harbor. The hotel was comfortable, the staff was extremely nice and helpful, and the breakfast was decent. Onsite parking is very limited and is $60 per night, but they let us park there until the concert was over the next day.

Perfect neighborhood for sightseeing in DC. Every place we wanted to visit was walkable or close to metro. Nice restaurants, drug store, market nearby. Large suite. Smallish bathroom but normal for the age of the hotel. Very clean. Excellent breakfast buffet. Comfy bed. Priced ok for what you get and the location. Excellent customer service.

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. Front desk staff was kind, professional and efficient. The place was clean and inviting. I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms were large and comfortable with a kitchenette that was helpful to store and reheat restaurant leftovers. Also, the shower was nice with the toiletries needed for hair and body washing. The bed was also very comfortable with pillows that had just the right amount of firmness.

We had issues with our TV. Due to the tropical storm we had to stay in more than we expected.
We asked for help 3 times. Once we did get some help but still had problems after that which they didn’t care about.
Front desk staff rude and uninterested in customer service.

This is our second time staying in this area. We loved the easy and walkable access to the Foggy Bottom station and very close to everything especially to Georgetown.

I had an enjoyable stay. I stayed here for my birthday and the staff gave me a card and a gift, which I thought that was very thoughtful. Everyone was nice and provided. Great recommendations! The breakfast actually wasn’t that bad like some free breakfast hotels. I recommend it.

Great location in Foggy Bottom. Spacious room with separate living room with TV. Good, hot breakfast. Helpful staff. Easy walk to Kennedy Center. Reasonable walk to Georgetown restaurants.

There were bugs in the pullout bed and an incredibly noisy air conditioner fan. Luckily staff was able to accommodate a room change for us.

We were pleased with our stay. Traveled with little kids and would be nice to have a pool. Price was decent For the room type. The mattress in the pull out needs to be replaced for better comfort.

This hotel has a great location next to the Mall and near the Metro. It was the best value for the money. Also, has a great breakfast in the morning.

Registration desk was excellent and always helpful to find dining options, etc. The room was clean and spacious - it helps to have the living/kitchen areas. We stayed 4 nights and never had maid service even though we requested it twice so that was a negative. And of course while the breakfast is a plus the mob at breakfast makes it undesirable. But for sleeping and having a home base - it's excellent.

Everything close in to DC proper is expensive, but I would prefer this hotel, all things being equal. Great location and service from the friendly staff, room was spacious and comfortable. Just a couple blocks from Foggy Bottom Metro station so easy to get to Mall or Reagan Airport or even Eastern Market. If weather is good, it's a 15-20 minute walk to Georgetown, through a lovely area.

The staff at this hotel were absolutely amazing, we had hiccup with the room that wasn’t clean but were able to get a free upgrade. Just an all around great experience, everyone was happy to be at work which in todays society isn’t always the case. I will come and stay here again

The check in was really easy. Though we got there 3 hours early, Fred helped with parking and helped my daughter and I find the bathroom, while my husband parked.
Fred and the entire hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming.
The room was quiet, large and clean. The free breakfast was better than average.
Would highly recommend.

The main comment was regarding the smell of the suite...it reminded us of pickles/vinegar. Otherwise the area was fairly clean and comfortable

Flew MCO to DCA to attend a Kennedy Center performance starring a family member.
Our stay at Residence Inn was GREAT!
The entire staff was cordial ,helpful and supportive. The room was spotless, the complementary breakfast had options for every palate and we could walk to the Kennedy Center.

The property is under renovation which was well communicated prior to my checking in, and was not a problem. The room was clean and well appointed, the kitchen had everything I could want. The staff were wonderful. I cannot think of another hotel where I was treated with such warmth and every question, request and need was promptly and efficiently addressed. Breakfast was fantastic. What was an extremely stressful trip was made much more bearable by the fine people at this hotel!

This hotel was close to my son's school and many interesting stores within walking distance. The staff allowed me to check in early, which was a great convenience, and the bed was comfortable.

The Kitchen trash was not emptied for the days. a lot of dust behind the bed and the bathroom sink outlets holes were black with dirt

This was the perfect place for us! While visiting our granddaughter, a student at GW, this became our Home Away from Home! Wonderful staff, incredibly comfortable beds, and super breakfast. We will be back!

Rude staff, gave another guest key to my moms room and they entered while she was in the restroom and staff didn’t seem to care about error. Served curdled milk at breakfast 3 days in a row.

Pathetic experience at this crappy Residence Inn in FoggyBottom. front office gave us NO service whatsoever and were totally indifferent. Horrible breakfast and no one came to clean the room etc. I would never touch this place again. I'm not even sure they have a manager on duty. very impersonal and one feels isolated and lost in this place.
