Adequate for what we needed. We were looking for something close to most of the Lincoln sites and Amtrak station. Hotel is a 10 minute walk from train station and 6 minutes from Lincoln’s home. It’s about a 15 minute walk from Lincoln’s museum and library. Many places to eat uptown about 10 minutes away. We found a great breakfast place “6th St. Cafe”. Easy walk from everything. The hotel was a great location, however, it could use some upgrades. My sisters room (accessible) had a bed that had a large sagging middle section. She had a little trouble “rolling” out. She found a bunch of trash behind one of the nightstands that had fallen behind it from previous occupants. Our room was okay, just some cosmetic stuff. One of the lights were out over the sink area making it dim for my wife to put on makeup. The toilet handle was very loose. I thought it might fall off every time I flushed. Close quarters in the bathroom. Needed to side step between the toilet and the tub to get the door open or else had to duck under towel rack to open the door. Bed was comfortable, and had a mini fridge and microwave to use for leftovers. An occasional train behind hotel was loud when they did come through, but nothing can be done for that. For the price it’s a good place since you probably won’t be using it much other than sleeping.

DO NOT STAY HERE. We left and stayed somewhere else. Room was in disrepair, grimy, plaster disintegrating, stains on the beds and no covers on the duvets. Deadlock didn’t work. Room stank of cigarettes. Area was so dodgy. Absolutely frightening. Stay away.

Expensive for the quality. I payed the same amount for 2 nights here as I did for 7 nights elsewhere. There was no breakfast either.

Busy train tracks right behind the hotel. They never cleaned the room while we were there. We had to take our dirty towels down to the front desk to exchange for clean ones. It was clean when we arrived. They were prompt in addressing the clogged drain in the tub. Doesn’t have an elevator, so the stairs are hard on bad knees and hips.

Hotel needs updating, train runs behind the hotel, room was not soundproof like described. The hot water was warm after you had to let it run for 5 minutes per the front desk. If you are looking for a room with a bed this is your hotel.

The rug on the floor was just filthy looked at least 10 or years old, very low running water and no elevator and we where put on second floor I had to carry all are luggage up two flights of stairs, and so did my wife with a bad knee from a replacement and on a cane it was the worst trip with the worst hotel stay I've ever been though I would never use them again or recommend them to no one

I’ve stayed here several times recently. The desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Decent beds, clean towels and Linens, rooms could use some updating and more thorough cleaning/ vacuuming. All in all good for the price. Motel is close to several local sites. Good parking.

There was nothing surprising or exception about the Mansion View Inn, and that is what made it a great lodging experience. Check-in was smooth and easy, the room was not fancy but well appointed, and everything that was needed and expected was provided.

The room had NO fridge or microwave...the tub was dirty...sheets were dirty...tiny bugs were on the towels...NO elevator and my room was on the 4th floor (he said it was all booked up)...fruit flies in every room (we had NO food in the rooom, couldn't figure out where they came from. The WORST place I have EVER stayed in my life!!! Oh, NO chain lock on the door. Parking lot was dirty and nasty...dude at the desk was hard to understand, but pleasant...TV had NO menu button on remote...

Rooms was clean, microwave & Refrigerator for food, shower accommodations for elderly & disabled, quiet neighborhood. Nice stay. Thank you.

Staff doesn’t properly clean the rooms there was blood on one of the walls we found hairs in the bed and were ate up by bed bugs the manager is completely rude the room smelled like mold the sheets and blankets were dirty had stains on them

This place was dirty, run down and sketchy. Woukd not recommend

This place was disgustingly filthy, the carpet was gross, the furniture was falling to pieces, they had no coffee maker in the room, no phone, the ice machine near our room did not work! There was missing art work from the walls, the walls were dirty, beds were broken and felt like laying on a cement slab! Considering that this place was across the street from the Governor's Mansion, you would think that they would do some major updates and repairs to make it a showplace and not a disgrace! The pictures on their web site are NOT anything like this place really looks! Sleazy, run down dump is what it actually is!

Our stay was good. Room was clean. Staff was friendly.

Needs new air conditioning in the room we stayed in plus one of ours towels was dirty, bed had a little roach and sheets has cigarettes holes.

IT WAS TERRIBLE, THEY MUST OF TAKEN THE PICTURES SOMEWHERE ELSE. THE ROOMS DO NOT LOOK LIKE THE ONES THEY HAVE ON SITE. PARLOT IS GROSS. IT STINKS WHEN YOU WALK IN THE ROOM AND ALSO WHEN YOUR REGISTER. ALSO, I AM HANDICAPP AND THE ELEVATOR DOES NOT WORK. I DON'T THINK IT HAS EVER WORKED.

The best thing about this hotel is its proximity to downtown. It's okay. Front desk person was friendly.

This is an older hotel that has seen better days, but is till in fairly good condition and is a good choice for an inexpensive stay that is in walking distance to the Lincoln Home and Lincoln Museum.

Older property that needs serious renovation . Family that run the place very accommodative and nice . Great location downtown across from the Governors mansion . Many rooms and elevator under repair .

Older charming hotel. Rooms were spacious with refrigerator and microwave. The beds were comfortable, a/c worked great. The staff was friendly. It's a two-minute walk to downtown venues. Our room was very clean for its age, and I felt comfortable with my children there—lots of parking for cars and mid-size SUVs. Great price for a great place. We will be back. Thanks!

The place is old but it could use some maintenance. The young lady at desk was super nice though
