No hot water in shower. Sheets had stains and a smell. They warned us of carpets being cleaned, so there was that smell as well. Little sad about the hot water. They had marks and stuff all over the wall. Wifi was good though.

Always the best stay at Canoga hotel. If I need anything I simply call and the staff always answers and accommodates to my realistic requests.

My room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and I would definitely stay at the Canoga Hotel again when in town for business.

The stay was great the customer service. Just had to experience hostel neighbors fighting then causing issues with the hotel in the am being loud and disrespectful not the hotels fault. The only issue is that the room looks like it was half painted and they were working on some thing and it wasn’t completed other than that the state was great.

Ooohh I love this place it’s not too high and it’s extremely comfortable and quiet here the bed made me sleep like a baby. this has turned into my official spot whenever I’m in canoga, the deposit is also returned a few hours after check out which is LOVELY. Will be back

The property itself was excellent. The rooms were updated
The one problem I had was I couldn't get wifi, so was unable to use my computer at all. No nice dining in the area, need to drive to the mall. The property was clean, and comfortable, but the area was undesirable.

Bad impressions walked to the room and saw cockroaches. We stayed for 2 nights no one come and clean the room at all. We put all trash at the trash can but so full. When we checked out, he got mad that so much trash in the can. And talked bad to us that don’t come back here again.

People running this hotel needs a job that doesn’t require any people skills. My bottle of wine for being a VIP member was not in the room and when I called to inquire I was told to come to the front desk and get it if I wanted. When asked over the phone (2 separate occasions sighing the same stay) about early check in time, I was given 30 min before the regular check in time. Same when I called to ask for late check out. Working in hospitality industry for over 20 years, I know the rules and understand the operational side of a hotel…I had to remind the staff on the phone of the actual times and only then and with attitude I was given…additional 15 min… customer service training is the minimum I would recommend to them.

Good budget pick in the west valley. The hotel itself is clean and quiet, but there isn’t much of interest in the surrounding blocks. The free breakfast seemed to be cold cereal, bread, juice and milk, but I didn’t even bother doing more than looking in the window.
The rooms are surprisingly nice and the wifi is fast and reliable.

We were there because my wife was having surgery for breast cancer. When we booked it said we get a free bottle of wine, we never got. It said it had continental breakfast, it opened at 8 and there were stale leftovers out and very limited selection. Went back the next day at what was left from the first day was out and again stale.

The property is conveniently located close to shopping centers and one of the Worlds most popular tourist attractions like Universal Studios, Westfield Topanga Village Shopping Mall, public transportation hubs and many culturally exotic and trending dining spots. It offers friendly and clean environment. I would recommend it for short term stays and occasional overnights

Place is basically to sleep only. The poor air conditioning. The room is hot especially at night. Breakfast option is limited to cold cereals and bread. Parking is very limited. Occupants from next door motel6 is using their parking as well. Ice machine ran out of ice. Machine is exposed so homeless people can have access to it.

The beds were comfortable, the ac didn't wont in the room, i was going back and forth with the guy just to switch rooms with a working ac, when we finally switched rooms, there was a dead roach by the bathroom floor

First off have to say I've read most of the reviews before staying here and they're mixed.... most of them though are bad/non-positive, anything from dirty rooms, rude staff, bad neighborhood, etc . Let me just say the rooms are emaculate and I mean that, at least the one I stayed in....from my understanding they've been remodeled and you can tell, I'm unsure what they look like before but it's worth staying here. The beds are 4star rated mattresses the type where you sink in, nice bathrooms and the room smelled pleasant. So I'm not so sure what rooms people are taking about but and can not at allThis is Canoga Park so

Although their has been some remodeling the room was still dingy and not very clean walls were marked up and chipped restroom had a smell no shower mat available was worried about slipping in shower The refrigerator also was dirty inside with previous food that must been stored by previous guest Chair in room was ripped up some looked like it needed to just be tossed out honestly …the window shades struggled to be pulled down and the biggest let down of everything was the A/C it was broken like the actual buttons were all
Missing had to play a guessing game to even turn it on and the room was so hot and stuffy the A/C wasn’t working to cool down the room We wanted to leave but it was so late in the day to try find a alternative and loose out on the money we had already paid for this room
