Great place for a short stay.

Check in and out very fast and easy property was clean and safe with security cameras food and stores walking distance the room clean and comfy we definitely will be coming back😊

This was a pretty nice place to stay at and I harshly have any complaints about the room however the parking is very limited and condensed.

Where do you buy your Hookless shower curtains with the magnets on the bottom? Those are the ones I am looking for for my home :) I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at your hotel and look forward towards my next visit.

The worst hotel I've ever seen, they didn't have drinking water in their hotel, they only had a coffee machine in the office which was broken and a vending machine which I didn't test it because it didn't have water and even if it had it would probably be broken or something, after checking in we realized there are some blood spots on the blanket and dirt spots on the sheets which was very gross and there were a lot of homeless and addicted people outside the hotel so it's not safe at all and also at midnight there are many criminals fighting beside the hotel and because of the old windows that they have you can hear the noises and voices and there's the smell of weed all night so you can't sleep. I'm so sad that I wasted my money on this place. Please stay away from this fright house.

Very friendly people and extremely helpful and the room was a great size and one of the cleanest I’ve ever had.

Super loud at night and in the morning. Room was clean. They used duct tape to fix the broken window cover and shower head...come on. I used this place as a last resort and thats whar I would recommend it for

Large room

This is not a 5 Star hotel, but it is comfortable. It is a little dated and could use an upgrade, but it's not a bad place. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked great and had hot water. No pest or critters in my room, so that makes me happy. I would love to have a microwave in my room to go with the mini fridge. All in all, for what you pay compared to what you get is not bad. I will stay here again.

It was great for the price, nothing fancy, but clean and simple. Really close to subway and bus stops. It was clean, no bugs, roaches and housekeeping everyday. Area has a reputation for homelessness, but I never felt unsafe. The people around left me alone. Very quick and easy check-in with no deposit required. I have no complaints.

This is an excellent budget hotel Very quiet safe area...I've stayed here 2 previous trips ... comfortable room ...bed and great shower.....the staff are superb as well..... definitely recommend if you're on a budget 😎

This is a no frills place that met all of my needs. I wanted a reasonably priced place in this neighborhood. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and large. Pillows were nice and the bed was comfortable. No complaints.

Not the best choice

Terrible customer service from front desk. Noisy room right on busy street. If you want to rest and sleep, I would avoid this hotel.

It was a basic room, and clean

Very nice and clean hotel room. Felt safe as well and check in was easy. Loved the location too close to all the spots we were trying to visit.

My friend and I stayed at Hollywood Stars Inn for a week while in LA to see a couple of concerts. Overall our room was big and quite nice and it had been cleaned when we checked in, but it felt like the floor hadn't been properly cleaned for a while - when we walked in the room after taking a shower, we would soon have dirt on our feet (and this was on the first evening already). We forgot to mention this to the staff, so we don't know if someone would've come to clean the floor if we asked. The staff were very friendly and service minded though, thank you! This hotel doesn't have a restaurant so keep that in mind when booking. But thanks to the location there are some shops and restaurants within walking distance, and it's easy to take an Uber or a bus as well. All in all it was a very good accommodation for our needs since we were mostly out and about during our days and evenings, and I would stay here again if I wanted an affordable place to stay close to Hollywood and central LA.

It the third time I've stayed there the check in was quick & easy

The hotel was generally convenient for visiting LA/Hollywood area. Chose this place because it had parking included, but lot was full and had to park on street 2 out of 3 nights. Placed in a room right next to front door. Only had a single pulsating bluish UV overhead light. Despite key card access, the front door is closed after 10 pm. Requiring a walk around the block to get in (front room was closest to front door and furthest from the back). The AC/heat unit smelled like someone had peed in it. Seems like they could afford to make this place a bit nicer.

It was very good clean liked the stay.

It was much better than what I was expecting. Clean and spacious. Not bad for a couple nights. Some homeless people around the area daytime and night. Not the most dangerous but not the safest.

Cleaner than expected, exceeded expectations

Hotel was very easy to get to. room was spacious and clean. Parking area was secure. Will stay again.

The only good comment I have about this place was that the young man who greeted me at the desk smiled and was pleasant. Everything after that was pretty much a disappointment. Broken mirror, dirty tub and sink, completely broken toilet seat. Drywall in bad condition, bed was hard… and that’s just the room. The area is just sad, homeless people camped on the street for blocks on either side, fortunately the parking is down a narrow alley beside the building and behind it otherwise I would not have felt safe leaving my vehicle parked in this neighborhood.I have stayed in to star Motel sixes that were 4 1/2 stars by comparison to the way this place has been allowed to run down. It’s unfortunate because the people there were pleasant, but I could not recommend this to anyone not wanting to be staying in a rundown cheap hotel in a bad neighborhood.

Dirty room with a strong smell. Curtain in bathtub very dirty. And there is not enough parking for the number of guests / rooms.

In the middle of all of the Hollywood attractions and tours, public transpo friendly, and not pricey at all. If you like more of a pricey type place with pricey like lodgings maybe not for you but for someone down to earth it a great place to crash for a few.

We had a comfortable stay. The room is clean and the hotel has an accessible parking. No coffee maker or microwave.

Great property & the staff are very helpful! Clean spacious units with everything you need ready to go!! Great location with target across the street and train down the block.

The property is in a great location and the room was large. The Inn is competitively priced and represents good value for money. The cleaning staff were very friendly, however, the reception staff are not particularly friendly or helpful. The Inn needs a security door on the main entrance as there are a significant number of homeless on West Sunset Bvld. Anyone can walk into the property at night and they do enter the hotel. A man with mental health issues entered the inn (at 2-3am) and was shouting at guests to come out. He eventually left the premises.

Smelled clean upon entry. Bed was extremely comfy too. The room needs a full length mirror and bedside lamps.
