Port Arthur Motor Inn

A great hotel to stay in.... it is quite old, but well maintained. There is a bar and restaurant on site with terrific food available. Would stay here again.

Great place to stay the night before starting Three Capes hike. Comfy bed, nice linens and quiet clean space. Meal at the restaurant was good too

The room was clean, just a bit old. the bathroom had warm lights, which is great

Good size room and shower room. although the room was "showing it's age" it was very clean and the shower was good. Equipment includes microwave and toaster as well as kettle. Additional crockery/cutlery available on request from restaurant. I had an excellent meal in the restaurant and breakfast was available if required. The bar also serves traditional food. All staff were pleasant and efficient Parking outside of my room was adequate and secure The location adjacent to the Port Arthur historic site is unbelievable, my room actually overlooked the site, there is a private gate into the grounds (you need to buy an entrance ticket on line) To sum up, the buildings are quite old but kept extremely clean and tidy and any small failings are more than made up for by the location.
