Housekeeper tidied the place well and reception was helpful. Do keep in mind that some tram noises can be heard (for light sleepers).

Excellent location; you can walk to virtually all the important tourist attractions Cozy little hotel with small rooms but adequate. Great showers and nice gym and spa area. Staff were very helpful and polite.

Staying at independent hotels is always a risk; there is no risk associated with this beautiful little hotel set amidst the central tourist area of Istanbul. The service is excellent from check in to check out. The rooms are well provided and very clean. Staff are always on hand to ensure your comfort. Breakfast is well worth the charge, and the table service excellent. All in all a little gem of a place to stay.

The olive restuarant affiliated with Romance was excellent. We ate there 2x. The pool was fantastic after a long day. Bring a swim cap or they have them there for a small fee. I did the hamman scrub which was excellent. Very close to all. Daily tea time was nice. I would stay here again!

The staff at this property was exceptional. Helpful, gracious, polite and went the extra mile. The location is perfect for touring and it is steps from the tram and and an easy walk to all the major sights in the old city. Our room was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. Thank you to the staff and management!

The hotel was beautiful & in a great location- good for walking to many major attractions. Staff in reception were very helpful in arranging transportation, etc. Nice breakfast. Amenities were not what you would expect for this type of hotel (no robes, not enough towels, no ice bucket). Overall, I would recommend as a nice, well located hotel. I did not make use of the Turkish bath or pool in the building.

Hotel is great

From start to finish, Romance Istanbul was a peaceful haven in the hustle and bustle of busy Istanbul. All of the hotel staff, including Shirin and Sadiye, were so welcoming and kind. The breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day, with delicious coffees made to order. The room itself was a comfortable, cool escape from a fiercely hot summer which was one for the record books. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for humble and affordable luxury to make a trip to Istanbul a memorable and truly low-stress experience.

Lovely traditional hotel well positioned within walking distance of the main attraction's within Istanbul or if you wish to use the tram system a one minute walk to the nearest station Also had a lovely spar with a small swimming pool

This was a fabulous place to stay. The staff are exceptional and incredibly helpful. Rooms are nice with comfortable beds. Very clean and centrally located. Also recommend Lion rug store across the road.

Great hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. Very clean. Great location in the old town, within walking distance to many attractions. Only disappointment was that vehicles cannot come on that street, and so we had to carry all our luggage about a block on uneven surface to the hotel and back. Not the hotel’s fault though. It happens to be on a tram line and vehicles are not allowed on it.

I love area very much very professional staff and very clean with every penny we spent . We got the suit and it has everything . All you need within walking distance. Ramadan and staff were very helpful and great , they answered and took care of anything we need .

Excellent service from the General Managers, Guests Relations Managers Shirin, Furkon and the rest of the staff. Hotel conveniently situated for trams for sight-seeing and shopping. Well laid out breakfast buffet and the staff responsible for the beverages were very helpful and pleasant, namely Dilek, Anu and Burak.

Staff were very welcoming from as soon as we arrived. Mehmet was an absolute legend and helped us book and advised us things to do. Breakfast staff were all amZing too and very attentive to our needs! Can not fault this beautiful hotel!

During the first night a very bad smell was in our room (4406) which made it nearly impossible to sleep in the room. We did not recognize the smell during our check in as the room was enriched with perfume. We turned on the heater and opened the windows which was not the most comfortable situation given the oustide temperature. Next day we changed the room and got an upgrade to a Suite. However, during a two night stay this was quite upsetting and it seems that the problem is known. So, make sure that you ask for a room without any smell! Overall, the service at the costumer desk was very good and a young men helped us during our check out and with the luggage etc. so the hotel has a good service level.

Wow what a wonderful hotel! We loved this place so much. Everyone working there was so nice and pleasant, and the service offered is top-notch! Whatever you need, they will help you with. They helped my son and I with arranging shuttles to and from the airport, even at 4 a.m., and with arranging tours as well. I can't say enough about the staff and the hotel itself, which is also gorgeous. They also have a spa downstairs with a lovely little pool and a hamam. The location is super close to the highlights of Sultanahment. Highly recommend!

It was nice experience to stay at Romance Istanbul and easy to go around Istanbul breakfast was very nice and the staff is welcoming
