It was average at best, not up to standards for other Holiday Inn Express sites ive been too. Breakfast and coffee was cold and not good along with the pancake machine being out of order. The site definitely has some wear and tear needs some upgrades and TLC. It did the job for a 1 night stay but not impressed.

The staff was ready for us- we drove a long way. The guys and girls were awesome, we were in our room in a flash. The only problem was that the heat in my room didn’t work

Our air did not work. Tech came twice and was unable to resolve issue. He did try and was nice. It appeared new staff were all working Friday night checkin and was visible overwhelmed and checkin in process took over 15 minutes with issues still not resolved. Then Asked for towels and linens on our way out to dinner after waiting 10 minutes for no desk clerk, she tossed item to me versus notifying us no one was in housekeeping or she would have ready when we returned. They say hotel was full so we just had to sleep in uncomfortable room. We did remind at checkout of issue so maybe next guest would not have issue

Loved that was close to the Mississippi Horse Park where my daughter was competing and to several restaurants. Our only concern was the fact that the area surrounding the hotel seemed a little sketchy, with construction and such, but for one night it was fine. We were on the top floor and had no concerns with our safety.

Front desk staff very nice. Cleaning was up to par and free breakfast was fairly decent.

Staff was excellent from the moment of arrival. Very nice and friendly all around. Breakfast was also very good with a nice selection. Room and bathroom was clean but did show a good bit a wear and tear. AC struggled to reach desired temp of room. Area around hotel was a bit rough and the parking lot is not in the best condition. They are trying really hard to make this a nice place and with a little TLC it has the potential to be just that.

Couldn’t get any sleep due to the people in the next room we’re having a party

This is a really nice hotel, however I don’t really think they were prepared for a sell out with all the baseball teams that were coming in. They were short handed, there was only one guy, Mick who was trying to check everyone in and the line was long! He went over and above to make everyone feel welcomed. Our door to our room would not securely lock from the outside. We went to our game and maintenance never showed up during the 4 hours we were gone to baseball games. When we returned he had to call in another coworker to help him because housecleaning had left without cleaning one of the rooms. He went up and was cleaning the room himself! Talk about commitment! They couldn’t fix our door last night, but we were ok because it did secure from the inside. We just put our bags in a family members room when we were at the games. He did also discount our room for the night. The housecleaning staff or the plumbers that had replaced some pipes under the sink never emptied the old pipe under the sink, and the drain in the bathtub was off the drain, so you couldn’t fill up the tub. The breakfast was good, but the poor woman trying to keep up with all the families eating was causing the food to run out. The hotel was full of 15-17 year old ball players, so you know those boys were hungry before leaving for the ball fields. The manager stepped in and helped clean tables and refresh the coffee and made sure everyone had what they needed. They would get 5 stars if they just had help!

We loved the room. The BED was Amazing. The male clerk behind the desk was very nice and helpful.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Housekeeping only did the bare minimum but I’m happy with getting clean towels when that was really what I needed so it wasn’t a big deal. Very pleasant staff. Breakfast was the standard for most hotels. Easy and convenient. Close to everywhere we needed to be. The driveway entrance is a bit hidden and I missed it once and almost missed it several times. A sign out front would be nice.

Check-in was very east and friendly. The building is being renovated, but not overbearing. The desk clerk was very friendly and treated each patron with a smile and gave them his complete attention. Breakfast was normal HIE, which is good for the price.

Great location, was clean and the staff was very friendly.

The hotel was great and very clean. The surrounding area is a bit unkempt and harsh. My very small complaint was that the coffee that they serve in the lobby is absolutely undrinkable. Small item but a large one when you expect your morning coffee to perk you up.

The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. I visit my sister in Starkville and will be staying here when I go to Starkville.

The only complaint I have is not getting great towels but they were super nice when I went downstairs and asked for some!

Hotel was clean and well managed. The breakfast was delicious and staff friendly.

Our suite was large and well maintained.
