Booked stay and paid up front…. Never again.
Checked into room, noticed a terrible smell from the cleaning products in the room…went to hotel desk, spoke with receptionist, told them my wife was getting sick from the smells, her reply, “ yes we have had other complaints about the smells due to the cleaning products….. sorry I can’t offer you anything else as that’s the cleaning products we use throughout the hotel” ask her what I need to do her reply “ I’ll give you Expedia phone numbers to get your monies back, I called them 3-4 times over a week. Had to find another hotel in williams lake so checked into the Sandman hotel in downtown williams lake, no issues, but had to pay for additional room, paid 161.00 to super 8. Hotels.com contacted hotel several times and now they said I didn’t cancel my booking properly. This is a health issue, not a procedural issue. Super 8 is hiding behind their fine print. There has been no communication between the hotel and myself for over a week. All I want is my monies refunded, I was in the room for less than 10 mins, did exactly what the hotel told me to do, so why did I have pay for a night stay and was in the hotel 10 mins. My wife was sick for two days. Since hotels.com and super 8 williams lake have decided not to do anything, I’m contacting the regional health authorities, chamber of commerce, and tourism BC, with my concerns about questionable health and safety practices and conditions to the public.

Room was clean, continental breakfast was good, if you have mobility issues, book first floor, as there is no elevator for second or third floor.

Sure it's a bit dated but beds were comfortable slept well. Could hear some snoring thru the wall. Michael the front seat man was amazing very friendly and kind and helpful.

It was a very cold night when I stayed here. No heavy bedding on the beds, so I found it a cold stay even with the heat on.

The staff was great and very friendly and helpful, but the property itself was very worn and old. All the furniture had scuffs, the pillows were lumpy, there were even chips in the porcelain sink. Just sad to see for the price.

The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and well maintained. Beds very comfortable. Continental breakfast was great to have no shortage on food. Overall our stay was great no complains will be back again.

Room was clean and bed was decent. Building is a little old and no elevator (for anyone booking who uses mobility aids). Staff were friendly.

I accidentally booked into the Williams Lake Super 8. It was a sub-par stay. The room smelled like sewage which was off-putting.
I will not be staying at this location again.

One of the two rooms booked was for an elderly gentleman and could not be used because the Room was very cold with only a tiny space heater that did not work very well. The other room was close to the highway and was very noisy.

Our room smelled like cigarettes, it looked nothing like the pictures online, breakfast was not good. Definitely not worth what we spent for a night.

Parking is pretty tight, not very much space. Staff was friendly/nice/helpful. Room was average. Biggest complaint was the amount of bugs in my room. I found over 7 spiders 3-4 mosquitos, and other flying insects. 1 spider was huge, looked like brown spider. Seems like somebody left the window open and didn't clean very good. Spider webs all along the ceiling and other places. Not worth saving a few bucks to not get a good nights sleep.

It's great that it was located right on the highway so we did not need to drive around looking for the place, plus it was the first hotel I believe when we drove in.
