It is not legal to have your dogs in the car they spent two weeks in a room downstairs they wind and wanted to get out then I can afford anymore because I’m homeless with my dogs and my boyfriend got a room upstairs there’s no way my adult dog would make it down the stairs or wait in the elevator to go out to P in the morning he is a snow dog he sleeps in a snow pile if he could and a dog house being a car was a cushy lovely place to sleep and then when I woke him up keep it up stubborn car and not have to hold his bladder for some reason animal control lied and said that I was neglecting them

I enjoyed my stay and the amenities were as expected. I noted some minor maintenance issues and wished they had honored my request to room on the upper floor but for what I paid I can’t complain.

Hotel booked only for one night so I didn't have to drive in the early morning hours in the pouring rain - was exactly what I expected for the price - nothing over the top but clean and comfortable enough for a short stay.

Need to clean the grounds more or put up signs to say please clean up after your pets.

The bed and pillows were clean and free of any debris. Unfortunatly the pillows were flat and the bed lumpy. The heater worked great. Tv worked as it should. There was a lightswitch when you entered the space that didnt work. The noise from other patrons and their pets was too much. Dogs on the floor barked everytime someone opened a door. All in all I got what I payed for a cheap motel for one night of sleep. The employees I encountered were very pleasent though.

Comfortable, clean and affordable. Had a good night stay and close by to restaurants and shopping walking distance. Didn’t need to rent a car.

We went to do laundry and both dryers were out of service. We asked maintenance if we can use their dryer downstairs and he told us to ask the front desk after our clothes were washed in the public washer. My boyfriend went and asked the person at the front desk if we could use their dryer once our clothes were washed because both of their dryers were broken and she said no..we need to go to the laundry mat. That was after I had already been down there and asked for $5.00 in change to use their washer and dryer. We were woken up at 7:30 by alarms going off because they were fixing something in the hallway. Our room was on the 4th floor and we had to carry our luggage down 7-8 flights of stairs the morning that we checked out because they shut the elevator down because of safety reasons. When we asked the girl at the front desk when the elevator would be working again she said that she didn't know and that we would have to use the stairs. They only serve coffee in the morning and it's not good at all. I will not be staying there again. I will pay more $ for breakfast, laundry and better service. One of the reasons for why I booked the room was because of the public laundry service knowing that I would be staying there for over a week to spend Christmas with family

They put me in a make shift room that was dirty with limited furniture

Near with the foxrun mall that’s why I like it and the negative thing there’s no breakfast service

A decent motel for a couple of nights stay. Trader Joe and McDonald are just across the street. Portsmouth is overall a very quiet and safe city so no need to be concerned about safety no matter which part of the city you are staying at. Oh, there was no hair dryer and the sink stopper didn’t work but for the cost I wasn’t concerned.

They decided 9.30pm is a good time to vacuum the hallway right outside the door to our room, The cleaning chemicals that they used to do the lobby floor was disgusting try to get comfortable but between the gross smell and the noise from the vacuum we ended up packing up belongiln⁰

Lovely people for staff. I can always count on Motel 6 for good night stay across the country and this one was by far the best. Thank you all for your hospitality and hard work. It shows.

Absolutely the worst experience staying at this Motel 6. Checked in at 11AM and was exhausted from traveling. My room was fine when I checked in and fell asleep. I woke up a couple hours after and my room was filled with smoke. I brought this up to the night staff, that brushed it off and told me to contact Expedia. Expedia said Motel 6 cannot issue a refund, I am disappointed. I asked for a room that was non-smoking, clean, as I have allergies. I was put in room 406 and it was filled with smoke when I woke up at 2AM. I will be filing a complaint to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) since Motel 6 refused to issue a refund.

No problems. Basic amenities. Convenient. Nice staff-great front desk.

Staff was great and very helpful and patient . We had an issue with heater not working properly when we arrived and they helped us to another room immediately
