The property manager was noticeably irritated when the card entry system didn’t work and he had to open the doors to multiple rooms voicing that he’s doing all of us a favor since it was during his break. I was there at 3 to check in and had to use the self check in machine which takes forever itself and multiple people were waiting for help

Most horrible trip I booked this room was never told on the website we had to have a credit card or a major credit card to check in had to sit in his driveway for literally 12 and a half hours he would not rent as the room he would not refund us I would never ever ever go back to this hotel so unfriendly so unprofessional and I'm going to make sure that every single one of my tiktok friends make tick tocks about this so I can get at least 150 million people to know exactly what kind of crap of a business that you run sir

The check-in is all automated via a kiosk. Not a fan.
The place needs a remodel. People were coming and going all night. There was a lot of noise at all hours of the night.
Parking was good and the place was clean enough. However, the headboards were stained and gross.
I'll spend more money and drive farther next time to have a nicer hotel.

During check-in the attendant wasn’t the friendliest, very muted demeanor. First thing we saw when we walked in was a roach near the window! Then when we walk in the bathroom there was another on the wall! There wasn’t any soap in the dispensers for the sink and the shower. This place has really gone down hill since our last visit pre-covid.

Bad wifi and no one there could help me. Came to the front office several times and it was locked or no one was there. Hidden fees all over the place, $100 to get the room I booked because it was a king? 10 a day to park?

Nice place to stay. They charge for parking even though it's not stated on website. They have you do a virtual check in with no person available. Hard to hear him and they could not hear me. No privacy while checking in with your PII.

Overall good stay, location is secluded and safe. Although, the customer service from one worker was not great. He was very rude.

I had to extend my stay in San Francisco by one night and needed somewhere somewhat close to San Francisco State University. I was not in need of more luxurious accomodations, just a bed, bathroom, & a place for my bicycle inside the room.
I chose not to drive to dinner and walked (~1 mile total) instead, right past the Cow Palace! There's not much for food options but Papa Ray's Pizza was my choice. Do not underestimate the driveway's hill when walking or maneuvering your car.
The parking was a bit tight, your car MUST fit inside the space & not impede other guest vehicles or your car could get towed. Regular cars are charged $10 for parking on top of room charge. They have other parking spots for larger vehicles, but mine was immediately outside my room.
Didn't try the "breakfast" since I left at 6:30 am & had a long drive back to L.A.
The place reminded me of a Route 66 motel, but with room updates. Card entry keys, 24 hour front desk, decent plumbing, but kinda small & dark shower stall.
I was not expecting The Ritz & was not disappointed. I would stay there again, but I don't ask for chocolates on the pillow from my hotels.

I'm staying 2 nights front desk make 2 different restaurants and when ask why my room that was not clean no clean towels hi said the cleaning was very 3 days

Never received a room key due to technical difficulties, felt like an inmate not being to leave his cell. Check in was very complicated with the kiosk, lights in room working intermittently. Was going to be an extra charge to park in the parking lot and still had to give info I my license plate after declining to park there. Ice machine was broken. Very loud people throughout the night. Curtains to short for the curtain rod to block outside light. How anyone has them at 4 stars leads me to believe ownership is writing the reviews. Worst motel experience ever.

Was better than I expected! It was clean, quiet and our room had a smaller second room for the second bed that I wasn't expecting. It offered more privacy for each person and also made the entire room feel bigger. Check in/out was a bit strange since they have a person working virtually thru a kiosk. My process was smooth but it would've felt safer knowing there was an actual person at the property

The internet went down before I arrived at the hotel, after waiting 1.5 hours in my car with a young child in my car, I was directed to a "sister hotel" in the area. Three other people who got there after I did were directed to and given the option for another stay before I was, I spoke with reception after already waiting 30 minutes due to the sign on the front door that they were having difficulty and would open soon, who said they would update me immediately, and I had to go back in and follow up after seeing people leave the Parking lot. I also heard another person waiting mention they had been given the sister hotel option one hour before I was and when I inquired I was told options were being figured out.

Would stay again since it’s very convenient and private. The maintenance could be better as our shower faucet was broken and had to be creative to open and shut it.

No housekeeping also allows people to park wherever they please even though they make you give them all this info about your car so they know it’s in the right parking slot. I was only allowed to park in my assigned slot the first night. Bedding and towels were smelly and seem used prior to me entering room. Place needs some work done on how they’re run.

The room keys I received only worked for a few hours. I have been stuck in my room my entire stay. I finally got someone in the office and they offered me the service I should have received when i checked in after 7pm.

Booked online then saw on the confirmation that check-in was 4-10pm. Called immediately and advised we would be arriving between 11pm-12am and asked if that would be an issue. We were told no, just call us that day and give us an updated ETA. Great! Day of, we're on the road, driving across the state and call to let them know... We were told they need to email us a form to fill out since we're arriving after check-in hours. They sent a .png photo that they wanted filled out with credit card info and signed as well as photos of the credit card and ID sent back. It was very inconvenient to try to complete while on the road when they could have sent this ahead of time. They also asked we call back around 10:30pm to give them an updated ETA. Then we got a phone call that they were cancelling the credit card charge they already billed and rebilling it. So, they cancelled the charge that already went through for night one and rebilled for both nights. They asked again that we call at 1030 to provide an updated ETA. Then they sent another email an hour later asking for the car details for the parking pass. At check-in once we arrived, they asked for the car info again. After I reminded them they emailed me for it, they were able to locate it. Overall, very disorganized and inconvenient check-in process. The room was nice but felt run down and not well cared for. Mold in the shower handle, holes in the shower walls and floor that were taped up and a missing plank in the floor.

It's a nice place to stay if you go to an even held at the cow palace. Ai will add though, there was no one able to help during the check in time (4pm) for atleast 30 minutes causing me having to wait to be let into my room which was very annoying. And when there was finally an attendant, the check in process takes a while having to sign a physical paper and give it back to the attendant for them to put it into their system

I only stayed here because it's close to my friend's house. There was an EDM show at Cow Palace the 1st night so the hotel was packed w/ ravers pre-gaming before the show. I didn't mind the rave-kids, but be sure to check the concert schedule for CP if that sort of thing bothers U. The room was depressing. Old sheets, old furniture & empty amenity dispensers. Bring your own shampoo & etc.

Forget it . Bed sheet not replaced. Comes with hardwater stain. Very yellowish. Bathroom and mirror door broken. Room smells unhumidified or clothes not completely dried up.

Sorry this is kinda long but I liked that the hotel was only a few minute walk from cow palace event center, it was really cute on the outside, and had a decent view of the ocean. But checking in took so long. There was a woman at the front desk and also an electronic kiosk that connected you to another agent in a different country? Who checked you in virtually. I’m sure the idea was to make it easier and faster? But that was not the case. There were so many steps and it was taking a long time. On top of that there were other people talking in the lobby so I had to keep asking the gentleman to repeat himself. They also charged me $10 for parking?? I’ve never had to pay for parking at a hotel that I was staying at before. When I asked him why I needed to pay for parking if I’m already paying for my reservation? I couldn’t really understand what he was saying but it was something about how it’s through a different company and something about Expedia?And lastly I booked a room with two queen beds, but they put us in a room with two full beds and seems like they did the same thing with another booking because there was a guest in the lobby at the same time as me and he brought it to the desk clerks attention, and she said something about if you book a queen room that means two full beds. So he told her well you guys should really put that on the website. She just shrugged.

place secluded, feels dark & unsafe, but economical, was declined to stay, place was overbooked, who knows at fault. Expect a refund, review based on outside observation, but did not get a chance to stay. Don't plan to make this hotel option to stay next time based on this experience. thx

The check in process is ridiculously slow and cumbersome. I checked in twice, had to do the same things twice, even though I'm in their computer system. Took about 15 minutes per person. The rooms were fine, clean, nothing special. Not the best for the price,

The room was fine, clean and decent. The check in took forever, 12 steps the guy William said. Each one, very slow. I stayed for 2 days, left 1 day, came back for 3 days. Had to do everything all over again. My home address hadn't changed in 2 days, but had to fill out everything. The worst I've ever experienced anywhere in 29 countries.

We arrived at the hotel around 4pm and no one was around to check us in. We waited for 25 minutes for the receptionist and then 40 minutes on the line to check in (there was a lot of people waiting for him). It never took so long to check in. The room was non smoker but smelled a lot like cigarettes. The tap on the sink wasn’t working and no one help us, so we used the shower water to brush our teeth. Wifi didn’t work well. Their parking lot is an uncovered space and they didn’t say that we have to pay for that. No flexibility and no respect for their clients.

I have stayed in the past, but I had lost my wallet and they changed their policy so that I needed a physical credit card to check in. Previously I had used tap to pay, and my passport for ID, but they both refused to take cash or tap to pay, and refused to refund me, so I was left homeless for the night.
