Room had a smell until AC ran for a couple of hours. Decent shower, good bed. Quiet. Good deal for the price.

I selected this property because of the price, and was very skeptical. But I was pleasantly surprised. It was very well taken care of for an older motel. And it was as clean as I have ever seen. My husband and I had just stayed in the Menger Hotel in San Antonio a few weeks ago. This was of course not as nice but was very close. Would definitely stay there again.

I showed up at M Star hotel lady at the front desk was rude I was told by one of the other employees her name was tree that I would have a smoking room available they were supposed to switch it for me they never did then the lady at the front desk got rude with me about it then offered me one bed in one room that was smoking that's not what I reserved charge me an early check in fee of 25.00 which was not specified on your website then was going to charge me at $50 cash deposit for a non-smoking room which already had reservations why would I have to pay a deposit they told me they were going to fix this a day before I showed up and get me a smoking room and I showed up didn't get a smoking room then they try to offer me a room for me and my father with just one bed in it that was a smoking room which is not what I reserved online I was very unhappy with their service my key card didn't work I had to go back up to the front desk me and my father were down there for a memorial service and the lady at the front and desk was just plain rude

Staff are friendly room were clean but limited. No lamp, no night light only the bathroom light and entrance light, no alarm clock. It's okay place! Bearable!

The breakfast area was not a breakfast area, it was a storage place for boxes and lawn equipment. The room was dirty and smelled bad. The lock on my door was broken. The people in the rooms around mine made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. I checked in and out within almost immediately. There is a no refund policy.

Good check in. Room was clean, bed comfortable. AC only cooled after 8 hrs on 61* with a fan blowing to distribute, but ok afterward. No lamps on night stands and light switch by the door turned on 6 "spot lights" on the ceiling. But for the price it was a decent stay.

An old school motel. Small but nice enough room. TINY tile shower stall with MOLD. Mildew smell got worse as the night wore on. If they would get rid of the mold and stank it would be a great cheap sleep.

No phones in the room and they don’t have breakfast anymore 😩

To start with the good things - the owners were friendly and helpful. Also, despite the hotel having no vacancies, I don't think I ever heard a peep from the neighbors, so that's good. Also, this hotel is right on the main road so it was easy to get to everything. Now, onto the bad. The hotel rooms look absolutely nothing like the photos. Like, nothing at all. I think maybe a couple rooms have that paint job and set up and that's it. Ours sure did not. The beds are really hard and not super comfortable. The shower is just a small stand up shower, no bathtub. The floors were super dirty and I guess they just don't mop them because I had on new socks and walking for a few minutes around the room turned them brown. The lights situation was annoying too, you could either have all the lights on or none of them on, there were no lamps or anything. All in all, it was an okay stay. Nothing fancy, no frills. Just be prepared for dirty socks and rooms that don't actually look anything like the photos.

The room was dirty. Several people around were smoking marijuana, fridge was leaking, no breakfast.

Staff in the front has been very attentive and helpful! They do not have washers and dryers for use but they offer a deal to wash and dry your laundry for you. Over all the stay has been pleasant.

The people at desk was super rude and hateful made me pay more money and deposits that wasn't mentioned on website and told me if we had anyone stop by to bring food or anything we was gone and they keep our money

The place seemed a little sketchy at first, but the stay wasn't really that bad. The people running the motel were very pleasant.

Not a great experience, between the local construction workers smoking it up, drinking and bbqing outdoors, can’t say it was the safest of places. Beds, pillows, towels we are all stained etc.

Well the flies in the room were disgusting cuz there were so many. When they come to clean your room and you say no thank you, that does not mean come back every 20 minutes. They kept waking me up doing this. Not once, not twice but three times in an hour period. On a good note, the shower pressure was phenomenal even in such a tiny shower. And the fridge didnt work cuz it was so iced over.

When we arrived to check in we were told our rom was not available due to water issues. They did not have another room available with 2 beds. The receptionist was very pleasant, but in the end, we were told that Searcy had a lot of hotels and we shouldn't have trouble finding a room. I do feel they should have found us a comparable room at another hotel instead of us scrambling around doing the work.

False listing. No breakfast was being served. No Maid Service (Employee Problems???). Only lights in the room were the ceiling lights - no lamps at all. Electric outlet for the coffee pot did not work. The woman in the office got testy when I asked about the lack of maid service.

Overwhelming musty smell, couldn’t stay at motel, went somewhere else. Supposedly clean, white towels had black streaks down them, dirty footprints on the bathroom floors.

Hotel was nice. Mattress was slanted on one side and would recommend replacing. Overall, everything was fine.

Very nice room at an exceptional value. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Very quiet room with a comfortable bed. The room was very clean. My only issue is that I chose this motel for my short stay because it advertises free breakfast and that was going to be very convenient for me the morning of my flight out. I arrived in the lobby for breakfast only to discover that nothing had been prepared or was ready. All of the machines and service stations had Out of Order signs on them, and no breakfast was being served, not even a glass of juice. I ended up spending nearly $50 to have breakfast at the airport, and expense I had not counted on.
