Nice place to stay...Bring your own toiletries...Front desk gave us the wrong time for Sunday's Breakfast so we missed it..The guests that stayed up above us was very loud,we were in 106...They stomped across the floor almost til 4am.Coffee,tea,hot water was cild...Front desk lady didn’t bother to make fresh and the ice water sat from last night was warm as well and she did not bother to change it...If you work in this type of industry you should know to do temperature checks without being told...Other than that...Everything went well...

My stay was very pleasent. I really like the no hassle for pets, as i travel and have my 24/7 companion.
The young man behind the counter was super helpful and professional. Even though he had just started his job he navigated the hotel system without an issue.
I had booked online, called beforehand and compared prices. Upon arrival, the room i had booked did not get attended to by housekeeping. he was embarresed and super apologetic. (He did not need to be as that wasnt his job nor his fault)He answered all questions without a problem and fixed the issue at hand with no hesitation. He deserves a raise asap!
The room he put me in was very clean, no bugs, no noise, no issue. I would recommend this locarion to anyone.

First let me give the staff a big shout out- Brady was super helpful and very accommodating. We had to rebook for additional days due to unforeseen circumstances and Brady was quick to help us. The hotel is going through renovations as it is a bit outdated but the rooms are comfortable and clean. We had issue with our fridge making a constant weird noise and it was replaced very quickly. The breakfast is limited but they do have coffee available 24/7. I would stay here again.

After reading other reviews, i was very apprehensive about trying them. However, very glad i did.. room was very comfortable.. could it use some touch ups or design updates, absolutely.. I am a former housekeeper and inspector myself so i automatically look for short cuts to cleaning etc... jacuzzi tub was very clean... turned the jets on.. no junk flying out of them (that has happened to me before) had a slight smell of bleach which is fine with me.... sheets clean.. bed very comfy.. walls clean.. baseboards clean.. desk wiped down.. only thing i would change would be update the lighting.. and fix the ceiling where it looked like it leaked at some point... smart TV with xfinity.. cute fireplace.. overall, I'd definitely stay again

The room I was given did not have any heat, no one came to fix it nor was able to accommodate me during my stay. I was told I would be reimbursed for the inconvenience but was not

Our first room had water spots and mold on the ceiling. We let front desk know and they gave us a room right next to it which had a crack all the way across the ceiling and the plaster was flaking. Both rooms were very dark and outdated. The walls were filthy. We called for a 3rd room and got one on the second floor this time. This room was also very dark and outdated. The walls were also disgusting and you could see where they tired to touch up the paint and it didn’t match. We didn’t use the shower becuz it was nasty. The lighting was terrible. The parking lot was not well lit and there were shady people lurking around outside. They told us we would be compensated with money off our stay but becuz we booked thru hotels.com they said they couldn’t help us out…

Stayed with my family for 2 nights. Very helpful and friendly staff. I didn’t realize my son had dropped his bear in the lobby and bear was waiting on the desk when we came back. Rooms are a bit old, but clean. Everything worked as it should.

The coffee and hot water was left over from the night before, which made it cold. The flavors water on the hallway had spoiled fruit inside, which reflects in the taste.

They say pictures are worth 1000 words, so I will lead with pictures. But I also have words. How this got 7/10 on Expedia is a mystery, wrapped in a riddle, surrounded by a question: How does this place continue to exist as a viable business? Who owns this place? Do they sleep at night? Certainly they don’t sleep here if they do. I have been traveling for business for over 30 years. Never in my life have I stayed in a filthier place, and I once stayed in a friend’s basement we dubbed “Lair of the Cat Witch.” This place was filthier. How can walls even get this dirty? And don’t get me started on the carpet. I would never stay here again as long as I live, and if I do, it’s only because I’ve been kidnapped, and someone is holding me here against my will. The night staff was helpful.

One lightbulb was burned out in the bathroom and the remaining 3 were different colors. There was no conditioner or lotion provided in the bathroom. Spills on the walls primarily in the brathroom that were just left. Shower curtain had rips in it at the top. Room smelled funny (musty and smokey) and felt very dry. I woke up in the night quite congested. Cobwebs hanging from ceiling. The fan/heating/cooling unit on the wall was partially falling off and the fan made a weird noise on and off all night. Fridge was making a noise nonstop too. Some of the electic outlet covers were falling off. Furniture was chipped and scratched. Bathroom sink dripped unless you got the handle in the exact right spot. The pool was closed. Breakfast options were very limited and didnt look fresh. They didnt even have creamer for the coffee :( There was a leak in the dining room ceiling. Pretty thin walls and loud doors. The hotel did not feel like it was in a safe part of town. The bed was comfy though so that was a plus. I would not stay here again though.

There is a lot of transient individuals hanging around the front of the property. However, the biggest issue is this morning when I checked out, my body was covered in red, itchy, blotches …BED BUGS
Here’s a recommendation stay somewhere else!

My Mom and I stayed one night. The hotel was clean, easy to access, and close to downtown Detroit. We were attending a concert at St. Andrews Hall and it took us 15 min to get there. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, the fridge in the room was cold. It was a very nice stay. No-frills hotel, great stay. Will consider staying here again if I am in the area.

Room was sufficient. Hotel was clean. Nice cheap place to stay.

The staff were rude both at check in and check out.

The location is close to the Ford Museum/Greenfield Village.
Apparently the locking system to all the rooms in the hotel did not function and the desk clerk had to open our doors. The desk clerks were prompt, but inconvenient for both them and guests.
One issue with one of our rooms (302). It smelled like vomit and was reported to the night desk clerk when opening our door. Luckily I had some Lysol spray to fix that issue.
Otherwise, it was a good stay.

The elevators and hotel key cards were not working. When I tried to check out at 7am, i called several times but there was no one at the front desk

The staff was very friendly and room was clean. They were not able to issue keys for the rooms because they key maker was broke. The elevator was working Friday but Saturday someone ended up getting stuck in the elevator

Our room could have used some maintenance (bathroom sink, carpet cleanliness) however beds and pillows were comfortable and bedding clean.

Breakfast was terrible (waffles especially). Not the cleanest. Spider webs and spider in the corner.

We stayed here as a family in town to see a Tigers game and the Henry Ford museum. We were in easy driving distance to both, so that worked out great. There weren't many restaurants directly nearby, but there are several within 1-2 miles down the road. There was a gas station right on the corner, which was convenient as well. Easy, convenient parking. One thing we were bummed about was the swimming pool. The water was FREEZING cold. My son gamely tried to swim, but his skin was like ice when he got out, so he couldn't last long in it. It was so miserable and a big disappointment since we specifically picked this hotel for the pool. The breakfast was fine (waffles, cereal, bagels, oatmeal). No protein except yogurt, but they were out of yogurt the second day. So it was clean and fine, but not spectacular.

We were in town for a busy weekend in Detroit. It was easy drive in and out of the city. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. No major issues. The tv was a little iffy but it worked. If we head that way again we would definitely stay here again.

I have been traveling for business for fifty years. On five continents. Bar none, this is the worst motel I have ever stayed in.Grumpily greeted at check in. Not advised of any amenities like breakfast time, wifi password, etc.Air conditioner in room was broken. Desk said they would see to it. Didn't. This during a few days of 100 temps. Pool was disgusting and shouldn't be open. No towels. Water so murky you couldn't see the bottom.Breakfast was minimal. Waffles, cereal, apples, breads, juice. Several of the breads had visible mold.Checking out, clerk was apologetic and said they would comp me a free room at any inn. Not sure how to redeem that. No tech outlets in room, unless you are toting 20 year old tech. No daily maid service. I realize any franchise motels can be inconsistent. But one bad one reflects on the brand. I won't stay in one again.

Decent room. The hotel and are is a little run-down but to be expected. This was definitely a $75 hotel a few years ago, they need to put some work into it.
