Our family of 5 checked into a suite to accommodate our family. The first thing we checked was the pullout to make sure it was clean. The mattress cover had food crumbs and hair on it, we requested a new one and they brought it. The rest of the rooms were clean, the beds were very comfy and we slept well. The was no hot water at any point. It was lukewarm at best after letting it run 5-10 mins on max “hot”, this was in the morning and at night. When I spoke to checkout and let them know, she said “it takes it a while to heat up”. I let her know at no point did we have hot water. She simply said I’m so sorry. It is obviously a known problem. Overall we were comfortable there but would not stay again due to no hot water.

I was disgusted and felt horrible I booked our stay only to find ou that there was no reservation under my name I was charged for 2 nights and felt devastated and felt ashamed . I will never use this website anymore for any hotel stays

Rooms were clean and perfectly set up for larger groups. All staff was professional and nice but Jamie at front desk went above and beyond to assist and make sure all our needs were met. She was amazing and it is like a breath of fresh to find someone so helpful and sweet.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay for our visit to the city- the bus was affordable, easy, and quick. We liked having a variety of shops and stores close by! Our room was comfortable, clean, and spacious.

My two friends and I stayed at this hotel from Nov 30-Dec 4th. The facility is clean, the staff is very friendly, and it is located in a great location, given that there is a bus that takes you directly to Central NYC. However, after such a great stay, we were put in the WORST situation. We thought we can trust the front desk receptionist with the booking of a regular taxi to the airport, but to our surprise we were given a luxury taxi(which was exponentially more expensive!!). We, then had no choice but to go with the luxury taxi as we needed to get to the airport on time. We were told that the manager would get back to us on how we can get compensated, but we never received that call or any sort of apology to this day. So for anyone else who stays here, please book your own taxi ( the front desk can provide you that number ) because it is not worth the extra $$ and was not the way we wanted to end what was a such a great trip.

The rooms are extremely clean, it has everything you need. Fridge, microwave, kitchen sink. It was very spacious and felt luxurious. The lighting in the sink area to the bathroom is incredible. The temperature adjustment is also great. View is amazing from the window. I recommend to stay here.

We usually stay at Homewood Suites when we travel. This particular one is close to commuter train or ferry ride NYC, lots of amenities such as shopping, restaurants, leisure activities within 5-10min driving and walking distances. Also, has river walk close to hotel .

We really liked this hotel. Location was great, place was clean, staff were nice, etc. The only downside is that we were there for three nights and when taking a shower each morning there was only hot water for one day and the others were lukewarm to cold. We took showers early in the morning too before others would have been awake.

The Homewood Suites Edgewater is in a great location near a ferry to NY city and buses that connect to NYC subways/buses. From the hotel entrance, you can see NYC across the Hudson River. The hotel is next to the City Place Promenade, a very nice small outdoor mall with shops and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and include a kitchen and large refrigerator. Would stay here again.

Wasn’t expecting a lot but this property blew me away. It was clean and quick prompt service. Everything was clear cut and pleasant. My only gripe is the pillows deflated fast and the bed was really wobbly. Overall though it was great and very convenient.

Great location with retail and food nearby. Literally 5 miles and 20 minutes into NYC at rush hr. The hotel looked to have had some updating but the furniture and appliances was dated. The check in was flawless and the staff was great. I would definitely stay again
