We got to enjoy the northern lights from our patio. It was amazing. The room was very clean and comfy. The bathroom was a good size which is nice. So many hotels have tiny bathrooms.

The Lodge was very clean, quiet, comfortable BUT the restaurant and lounge were not open on Tuesday or Wednesday. We had to drive quite a distance to get breakfast and dinner. Dinner a little easier but breakfast? Even a little continental breakfast would've been nice.

Quiet in the week - busy at the weekend ! This was a really relaxing stay . Pool and gym well appointed , bar friendly and flexible. Didn’t eat in restaurants have breakfast so can’t comment

Your lodge was awesome. They did ask us if we wanted maid service and I said yes. The beds were only made up the first day and towels changed on a daily basis. Guess I expected the room addressed daily when they asked.

Valentine’s Day weekend trip, had issue with booking through Expedia, but the Lodge staff fix the problem themselves very accommodating. The lodge is beautiful rooms are spacious, and super nice! One of the better hotels I’ve stayed in for the price already planning on going back in the spring

Husband and I came for a romantic weekend. We had dinner at the Crosswinds just down the street and breakfast at the Lodge. It was a very clean room. Our biggest issues were that the heater would come on and was very loud each time and the thermostat was so bright it lit the entire room. The other most annoying thing was that there were kids running up and down the hall and banging on doors including ours. We just did not expect that from this type of a quality lodging. There were people in the breakfast dining room in their pajamas allowing their kids to yell and run around. We chose this place vs going to a cheap hotel thinking there would be some control over these kind of events. We tried to just overlook it all because we don’t often get a chance to get away. Maybe the next time we will try one of the cabin type rooms .

Rcvd offer to upgrade room. The room had two wine glasses and a bottle of wine. I was called about an hour later to state that the glasses and wine were not for us and they were going to come take them out of the room. As well this upgraded room was next to elevator and quite noisy. Luke at front desk was kind at check in.

It is January so this is the Lodge's least busy time and we knew that going in; however, we didn't know the restaurant was closed as we are hoping for a nice birthday dinner and breakfast the following morning. The staff did provide dining options in the area and we selected Mary's Diner in Geneva, which had a cool 50s motif. Also, the water was at best lukewarm for the shower on the 9th. The pool and hot tub were terrific and we used them both days we were there.

I enjoyed my stay there. The only inconvenience for me was that the microwave was located by the vending machine. I suggest that microwaves be included in each room just the refrigarator is, or at least have some rooms with included microwaves which can be selected as an option.

Parts of one of the rooms my group booked had many dead insects on the windowsill and the bathroom needed a more thorough scrubbing, but overall we had a wonderful stay and will not hesitate to stay again!

It was a beautiful, clean place to stay. The staff was very friendly. They have lots of activities available- walks, games, pool, bike riding.

The place was very clean and very nice with comfy beds and very friendly staff. Our only problem was that we had to pay a $15 fee for amenities we did not use. We stayed one overnight to visit wineries with family. We spent our whole time with them, so we did not use their pool (it was October and chilly) and we did not use their bikes, or any other amenity. They would not let us opt out of the fee, though. All we did was sleep there. That was our only negative. Everything else was very nice.

I really liked having the s’more. It’s a gorgeous property. It would be nice to get in at three and get to stay till noon with the price of the accommodations. The layout is very comfortable. My only complaint pillows are sort of awful hard and some of the crappiest pillows I’ve never found in a hotel.

Along with a nice facility, it is part of state park with great hiking trails, free bicycle rental, atree top zip line, boat rentL and relaxing view of lake from numerous gas fire pits. Restarant and bRboth have unique offerings we will be back.

Lovely, very well maintained facility & grounds. The room was spacious and very nicely equipped with ample seating other than on the beds, as well as a little bistro table and chairs !! Every staff member we met was warm, friendly & helpful. The view from the dining room overlooking Lake Erie was beautiful and mesmerizing.
Was only here for 1 night but already starting to plan a longer return visit !!

Expedia charged my credit card without my acknowledgement. Even the Lodge said Expedia should have notified me.

There was a frito by the desk lamp from previous guest and some dust bunnies on floor of bathroom. Also, no bar of soap to wash hands. Also, I kept hearing music all night long somehow. Sounded like drums.

It is close to everything especially the lake it has a patio an two pools I love that about this place oh and the fire Pitt
