Staff is awesome! Rooms are very clean! We did not have the breakfast but it was always busy. My average rating is due to the room being very hot (without having the heat on) air flow was an issue for me. The a/c system is the typical wall unit with a wall thermostat that didn’t show the temp in the room but showed what we would set it to. It was a good 8 degrees higher than what we set, and neither of us could sleep well. Bed was not comfortable for my husband (too hard). The shower in our specific room creaked. (thoughts of falling through the ceiling while showering did enter my mind.)
Again… STAFF is awesome!! And the room was VERY CLEAN!

Stayed 4 nights. Rooms very spacious and clean. Facility very clean. Pool & Jacuzzi clean. Hot breakfast meals were good. Friendly staff. Will stay here again.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Every single encounter with staff was just exceptional. From the ladies who prepared breakfast to the front desk staff we had only positive encounters. The hotel stay was no stress and all the employees really cared for our comfort. This was my first stay at a Hampton but won't be my last thanks to the staff here. I just hope my next visit is equally impressive!

It was as expected from a Hampton except for condition. We have stayed here multiple times but it has been a while since last. Needs a good update because most of it is the same. Same tile, quite a few of which are broken, same fixtures and carpet needs some attention. The beds were newer and awesome which was the best nights sleep we had on our whole vacation. Service was terrific and it quiet even though close to Hwy 35. Did not have the breakfast. That all being said, we would absolutely stay again.

The dumbell weight set in the fitness center is not complete. Missing the 10lb set and one if the 25lb dumbells. Myself and another guest were both impacted while trying to work out.
Breakfast choices were great! I really appreciated having coffee and creamers available throughout the day.

The hotel was easy to get to. The desk clerk was very nice but their computer system was on the blink and it took about 25 minutes to get checked in. The front desk manager had to do the check in from her office. The room was nice but the ac was difficult to keep running. The toilet in the bathroom was lower to the ground than a normal toilet. The toilet paper holder wasn’t attached to the cabinet correctly and fell off. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was sub par compared to other hotels we have stayed at. But the coffee and fruit were good. Overall it was just adequate but will not stay here again.

Pool and hot tub not working. Checked in on a Friday and they said the part for the pool and hot tub would be in on Tuesday after our stay. I just had foot surgery and I parked right by the door at the side of the hotel but door didn’t work. Staff said that door also was broken until the part came in. Had to get staff to open door to pool area when it didn’t work. When I checked in they asked if I wanted house keeping and I said yes. We left the next morning and when we came back in the afternoon no one had cleaned, no clean towels and trash overflowing. When I told staff no one had cleaned they said they put me in to have the room cleaned the next day. Since they asked I assumed they would clean. The day we checked out the lady at the front was very rude.I had to ask twice to please print out my receipt.

We stayed in room 317 , the room smelled like mildew , wet carpet maybe, the ceiling looks like there is a leak! The air conditioner would wake me up every time it turned on. Not happy with my stay, I feel I paid way too much for what I got.

Beds were a little hard. Needs some updating. Says it’s pet friendly but there are signs on the door that say no dogs. Kind of confusing.

The front desk girl had the absolute best customer service hands down! But I was upset because I spent close to $300 for a night to insure that as an athlete they would have a hot tub available, that’s why I booked. The hot tub was out of service without any warning. I was really upset and so were the other guests. That’s the main reason I booked with the Hamptons.

Decent hotel. Could use some upgrades. Picked this hotel for the indoor pool and hot tub. The hot tub was cold and never warmed up. Water pressure in room was medium. I wouldn’t stay here again if I have a better option.

At Initial check in not much was explained... This was my first time traveling with my daughter alone. Front desk attendant was difficult to find on more than 2 occasions. Housekeeping was in the hallway making noise (laughing ans cutting up/not cleaning) before 8am.

I enjoyed my stay; overall. The only bad thing was an indoor pool and spa that is NOT heated.

Our stay was relatively good. The staff was great in accommodating our infant. I requested a crib when I made the reservation. When I found out my flight was delayed several hours I called and asked that the crib be in our room when we arrived around 1 am because our baby was probably going to be very cranky when we arrived. When I got to the room it was already in place set up and ready for her to go to sleep.

I had a very nice stay, I liked the property was clean and I had a lot of choices for the hot breakfast this morning. I did enjoy the breakfast omelette, sausage and potatoes.

Comfortable and friendly establishment. Confusing layout of streets near Waxahachie Convention Center makes the property difficult to access. Parking is inadequate when the hotel is full.

We enjoyed our stay and would certainly be happy to stay here again. Our little boys enjoyed the pool and hot tub and the room was comfortable. Only issue (which was very minor) was that the ceiling was a bit thin so at times we could hear the upstairs neighbor walking around.

Front desk staff was very friendly. The gal working the breakfast area was so kind. She was so polite and helpful. We greatly appreciated her excellent customer service. The breakfast was hot and delicious. Our only complaint was that there is very limited parking. We had to park in a random parking lot behind the building and walk over.

The initial experience was sub par due to a faulty A/C unit in the room. The room was very hot. The Hotel Desk staff was notified and immediately got me into a different room. They also added an additional discount to the room rate for the inconvenience. This was done without hesitation or negative response from the staff members. I appreciated the professional manner in which they handled the situation and resolved it in a very timely manner. I would stay at this hotel in the future.
