Reception was a bit messy , no personal welcoming . Spa was overbooked , employees at the beach where missing . A part of that the place is super clean , nice pool and playground for the kids .

I was impressed by the staff. They address your issues effectively. Their English is better than any other facilities and hotels.

The check in experience was absolutely awful. First, no one acknowledged us for about fifteen minutes. Finally, the porter was so embarrassed that he called one of the reception staff over to help us. We arrived at 2pm and they said none of the rooms are ready until 3pm. I understand it takes time to clean the rooms but to have a standing policy at a supposedly high end hotel that no room will be available even if they are available is absurd. The French brunette at reception was exceptionally rude. There was no parking anywhere at the hotel and she stated that we could just find somewhere down the road and then move our car after all the day guests left. We have stayed at other hotels in the area like Royaum and Africa Queen and honestly the room was no better at Lamantin but they want to charge three times the price. The beach is very nice and clean but the hotel was an extremely disappointing experience. The entire reception staff should either be trained on customer service or replaced. I saw the French blonde manager walking around so she is clearly present but does not seem to be doing much to improve the standards of the hotel.

I can only say the outside area was not as expected a bit shabby . 3 people were checking us in very disappointing then found out that we had no room as Expedia over booked us we ended up paying 579$Non refundable fee which I’m still trying to claim .

I reserved 3 rooms for a 3 ok check in. We got there at 4 pm and 2 out of the 3 rooms were dirty from the last guests when we walked in our rooms. They didn’t get us clean rooms till 7pm. Completely ruined our day. No one on their team is on the same page when it comes to communication. Half the team will tell you the pool closes at 7pm while the other half will tell you you can swim at anytime at your own risk. I was simply baffled by the lack of simple customer service etiquette and mediocre hospitality.

The quality of this property has greatly declined in recent past. Staff need work on communication and hospitality. Food quality could be improved.

Overall the hotel is quite nice, the rooms are big and comfortable, the beach is really nice and the food is good. However there are a number of things that let it down, the service is utterly terrible - it takes forever and is hit and miss whether things arrive or not; the cocktails were terrible and not cheap; and the "entertainment" on an evening is mixed.

Possibly the best place in Saly , very good infrastructure, nice beach, excellent food, unfortunately the check-in was not good, the Hotel could not find the Hotel reservation and we lost close to one hour to get the room.

Very relaxed atmosphere. Smiling staff. Gorgeous beach . Delicious buffets. African style in the decoration. Privacy of rooms, especially the higher ones. Proximity of fascinating Mbour, fishermen market memorable. An African dance evening, done with joy and pride.

Beautiful location, great beach and pool area. Fitness room was not clean.

Excellent. Safe and great amenities. The perfect vacation spot for families, couples and singles.

The property provides all of the services I have needed during my stay. In fact I extended my stay an additional 4 days.

I stayed at Lamantin for 24hrs to catch a flight to Cape Verde. Their breakfast pastries were Amaazing! They had a Moroccan themed dinner which was divine! Tagine, Couscous all the dishes were delicious. The rooms are spacious but the toilet plumbing in my room was not so great. The beach was very near.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation! Everything was excellent: the beach, the pool, the service, the room, the food.... The staff keeps everything immaculately clean. Everyone who works their that we encounters were so friendly and helpful. Our only suggestion is: we wish they would keep the pool open past dark- it looks so beautiful at night and it would be great if it were open until 9 or so :P
