Fantastic stay at Sylvan Inn, the host is very nice and accommodating, made fabulous breakfast for us in the morning, the location is perfect, walkable to the center of the town, also only a short drive to sleeping bear dunes; the only downside is the shared bathroom, but if you don’t mind sharing, then it’s not a problem at all, it’s clean and tidy; and I would definitely choose this same place if I plan another trip to the dunes

It was okay. I expected a little more attion for the cost of almost $300.00 a night.

Very clean and peaceful place to stay and relax. Service was very attentive and the breakfast was delicious.

It was a wonderful experience. It was very clean and the check-in checkout process was very easy and smooth. We had breakfast served to us in the morning out on the large porch which wraps around the entire Inn. Great location right in town with walking distance to many restaurants

Room #6 was beautiful

We absolutely loved our stay! Jim and Laurie are wonderful hosts. They were so attentive to our needs and offered tips on places to park for events and things to do. The house is an historical property but extremely well maintained. The room was clean and comfortable. The huge wrap around porch was great for breakfast, quiet reading or chatting with other guests. Located just on the edge of Glen Arbor, it was an easy walk to shopping, dining, and viewing sunsets on the bay. Unique to this week was the 4th of July parade. Unique, goofy, patriotic, and so much fun! Americana at it's best!

We love the location - so close to fun shops and and restaurants! We enjoyed breakfast on the porch the mornings we were there before heading out to explore the area.

Not enough good things to say about The Sylvan Inn and its staff. Rooms were cozy and comfortable. The made-to-order breakfast the next day was fantastic. Choice of eggs, fresh fruit, bacon, and homemade sourdough bread--can't be beat. Felt like I was staying at a relative's house with the hospitality. 10/10 would recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was conveniently located near Sleeping Bear Dunes. We were within walking distance of restaurants, grocery stores and wineries. The Inn Keepers were very friendly and helpful in making suggestions for activities. The property was well maintained both inside and out.

Beautiful well kept older home

Charming inn. Stepping back in history, but comfortable , sweetly decorated room with all amenities. Friendly and helpful owner.

It was nice but it is an older structure (i.e., thin walls, creaking wood floors) so you can hear everything your neighboring guests are doing in their room. No tv’s which is probably good for that reason I suppose. A fan in the room could maybe have helped provide some white noise. Owners are gracious and breakfast was well done though the breakfast hour was only an hour long so you may need to arrange your morning to suit that timing. Wifi was capable. I shared a bathroom which I felt was clean. A shelf would have been useful to set a toiletry bag though there isn’t a lot of room to put one there. I left early skipping the last paid night just because I needed a better sleep.

Cold and drafty. Windows were stuck and useless. Common breakfast squeezed 14 to get her in a small room. Breakfast was poor.

Comfortable room, solid breakfast and a great location for a weekend trip around the Leelanau.

Nice area, walking availability to food and drinks, lake a couple of blocks and is a resonable walking distance. A bit pricey for such a small room.

The property is clean and cute. It is well located. They served an excellent breakfast and the bed was comfortable. We didn't realize that we'd be sharing a bathroom. There was just one chair in the room and is was not comfortable. There were just two wire hangers which was inadequate for our clothes. We should have asked for more. The innkeepers were present only at breakfast and by that time we had adjusted to the two hangers and forgot to ask for more.

A feeling like staying home. Clean and comfy.

Awesome bed and breakfast in Glen Arbor. Super friendly staff. Clean room and grounds. Sweet wrap-around porch for relaxing. Breakfast was yummy and served individually, either in the dining room or in your individual room. Highly recommend.

Owner met us when we pulled in. Set us up right away. Always a great stay. Great breakfast as well.

Good location. Walkable to shopping and dining.

Rooms are small and we had a shared bathroom upstairs. The most fun was breakfast served on the porch with lots of good coffee.

Beautiful Bed and Breakfast in downtown Glen Arbor. Within walking distance to beach and town. Rooms were clean and well appointed.
